Studies of Antilnicrobial from Extracts of Impatiens Balsamina(I)

Abstract

To develop natural antimicrobial substance, methanol and water extracts were prepared from Impatiens halsamina leaf and stem. And antimicrobial activities were examined about Staphylococcus aufrtis KCTC 1928, Kluhsiplla pnehtmonlav KCTC 2690, Escherl'chia coli KCTC 1116 and Trirhophytun ntentnrophytes KCTC 6316 in which were used antimicrobial test of fabrics. The results obtained were as follows; The methanol extract and water extract of the leaf and stem didn't show the inhibition effect about E. soli but showed the inhibition effect about 5. axil·elii. H. Pneupnuntag and T ttBentnrophytis. And the extract of leaf showed higher inhibition than the extract of stem. The methanol extract showed higher inhibition than the water extract.
