Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of yam count(CM Ne30 , 40 , 50 and CD Ne40 ), stitch structure(plain, 1$\times$1 rib, interlock) of marketing cotton knitted fabrics on the drapability That was to determine the effect of relaxation condition, hem length(16, 20, 24cm) and mixing ratio of ramie fiber of cotton/ramie knitted fabric on the torapability, mechanical characteristics and functional values which were derived from basic mechanical properties. Mechanical properties such as tensile, shearing, bending, compressional property, surface property and thickness were measured by KES-system. The experimental results were to investigate the effect of drape coefficient, functional values and mechanical properties by mixing ratio of ramie fiber.
