Abstract

The method of producing nonwoven fabrics by the use of ultrasonic treatment was introduced for 100% polypropyrene webs. In this study, the optimum processing conditions of nonwoven fabrics were (1) weight of web: 90g/m2. (2) feeding speed : 1 m/min, ()) number of passage : 4. (4) horn pressure ; 6 kgf/cm2. Tensile and bursting strength decreased with weight of web. feeding speed, number of passage, horn pressure whereas drapability increased with these parameters.
