Construction of the Single Longitudinal Mode Dye Laser Inserted a Wedge Prism

A Littman type dye laser oscillator inserted a wedge prism was constructed. Accurate frequency tuning was achieved by the rotation of the wedge prism instead of the tuning mirror. Frequency tuning rate was about 20 GHz/deg. and the synchronous tuning of 70 GHz without mode-hop was achieved. ieved.

Wedge prism이 삽입된 Littman형 색소 레이저 공진기를 제작하였다. 파장조정 거울 대신 wedge prism을 회전시킴으로써 미세한 파장조정이 가능함을 알 수 있었으며, 이때의 주파수 변화율은 약 20 GHz/deg이고 모우드 뜀없이 단일종모우드로 약 70 GHz를 연속적으로 변화시킬 수 있었다.
