Abstract
An endo-type cellulase, carboxymethyl cellulase(CMCase) IV, was purified from culture filtrate of cellulolytic fungus Penicillium verruculosum. The CMCase IV was acidic glycoprotein having carbohydrate of 13% as glucose and pI value of 4.0.
