Abstract
Four model blends (1: 1 by wt) of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with three compatible (butadience-acrylonitrile copolymer elastomer having acrylonitrile content of 3O%, poly-ε-cap-rolactone, copolyester thermoplastic elastomer) and one incompatible (butadience-acrylonitrile copolymer elastomer having acrylonitrile content of 22%) polymers were investigated in this study The dynamic mechnical measurements at small shear deformation were performed and the resulting data were presented in the form of log-log plot of loss modulus G"(ω) against storage modulus G'(ω). This plot, so called the Cole-Cole plot, was used as one of the methods for characterizing the viscoelastic behavior as well as the morphological changes of four model blend systems.
