Abstract
The chemical structure, surface free energy and optical characteristics of plasma polymerized hexafluorobenzene(PP-HFB) were investigated in terms of discharge power(W) and feed-in rate of monomer(Fm). It was observed that CF2 and CF$_3$bond in PP - HFB were newly generated and optical transmittance of the plasma polymers were promoted with an increase of input energy(W/Fm) level of glow discharge. It was found that PP-HFB showed highly hydrophobicity and their refractive indexes were changed from 1.458 to 1.621. It was enhanced the color deepening effect on the dyed polyester fabric by the PP-HFB coating.
