Abstract

In one bath dyeing systems of polyester/cotton blends with disperse dyes/vat dyes, the dispersion stabilities of dyes were investigated by the measurements of particle size of the dyes and absorption spectra. Disperse dyes and vat dyes were aggregated very much in each single solution of one bath dyeing conditions. As the dye concentration increased, the decree of agreegation was highly increased, but was decreased by raising temperature. As the inorganic/organic valence became larger, the aggregation of disperse dyes by addition of inorganic salt was increased.
