Experimental verification of the mathematical model presented in part I of these series of report has been performed in this study. A modification of the theoretical model has been presented to facilitate the necking point of the threadline, where the yarn diameter, twist, and translational velocity changed. Modified theoretical model has agreed well with the experiments in predicting yarn diameter profile, translational velocity, twist, and twist contraction along the threadline in the steady sperating conditions of draw texturing of polypropylene yarns. The yarn diameter decreased slowly with the advancement from the entry to the heater folio- wed by the sudden drop at the nicking point, but twist, translational velocity, and twist contraction showed the similar but inversed profile to the yarn diameter.
