Mechanical Properties of Three-Dimensionally Reidorced Woven Composite

초록

A three-dimensionally fiber reinforced woven composite was fabricated using the pre- form woven from the multi-warp sheet interlaced with y-and z-direction yarns. The y-and z- direction reinforcements maintain the whole structure to hold together the multi-warp sheet laminae in X-direction. Based on the analysis of the geometrical model and the properties of the constituents of reinforced fiber and matrix, a theoretical predictions of the mechanical properties of the 3-dimensionally woven composite was made. It showed that the tensile modulus and bending behavior of the 3-D woven fabric composite can be predicted by the function of weaving paramenters of the preform, volume fraction of the reinforced fiber, and the properties of constituents of fiber and matrix material.
