Abstract

${\beta}$-Naphthoxyboranes and lithium tri-${\beta}$ -naphthoxyborohydride were prepared and their properties were investigated by 11B-NMR. The reducing power of lithium tri-${\beta}$ -naphthoxyborohydride is weaker than lithium borohydride.
