Identification of a Stem-borer, Compsidia populnea L.(Coleoptera; Cerambicidae) on Populus $alba{\times}glandulosa$

현사시나무의 줄기 식입해충(害蟲) 포푸라하늘소의 분류동정(分類同定)

Abstract

The major species of stem-borers attacking Populus $alba{\times}glandulosa$ was identified as Compsidia populnea L. and some superficial characters of the species were compared to the allied species, Compsidia balsamifera M.

현사시나무(Populus $alba{\times}glandulosa$)의 줄기 식입해충중(害蟲中) 우점종은 포푸라하늘소(Compsidia populnea L.)였으며 황철나무하늘소(Compsidia balsamifera M.)는 확인되지 않았다. 본(本) 조사(調査) 통하여 상기 두 종(種)의 형태(形態), 분포(分布), 생활사등(生活史等)이 비교 검토됨으로서 포푸라하늘소의 정확한 분류동정(分類同定)이 가능(可能)하여졌다.
