Abstract
The characteristics of Paulownia coreana wood used for sounding boards has been revealed through this study. The 80 specimens were selected from Paulownia coreana wood. The dynamic Young's modulus, the internal friction and resonant frequency of wood were measured by the method of making a rectangular bar resonate in the audio frequency range. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1.
