Studies on the Synthesis of Polymeric Dyes (I) -copolymerization of Styrene onto 4-(N-acrylamidomethyl) Aminoazobenzene-

고분자염료의 합성에 관한 연구(I) -4-(N-arylamidomethyl) Aminoazobenzene과 Styrene의 공중합-

4-(N-Acrylamidometyl) aminoazobenzene was synthesized and copolymerized with styrene by the use of AIBN as an initiator. The absorption spectra of polymeric dye was red shifted and molecular weight was 2.17${\times}$105 in benzene at 25$^{\circ}C$. The polymeric dye thus obtained was more stable as for its light fastness and resistant in polar solvents compard with the p-aminoazobenzene and its- N-methylolacrylamide derivative.
