Abstract

In order to investigate the biaxial load-extension behavior of 2/2 twill fabrics, a mechanical model for biaxial extension was suggested. The suggested model was analysed by Castigliano's theorem and graphical method was adopted for the solution of the equations. The solutions were compared with experimentals.
