초록

Sodium cellulosates of cotton fabrics were prepared by means of an ion exchange reaction between the preswollen cotton fabrics and sodium methoxide in methanol. As a result, the degree of sodium metallation(mol/AGU) was increased with the increase of reaction temperature and remakably enhanced by the addition of dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO) or pyridine to the system as a cosolvent. The apparent activation energy of sodium metallation reaction in methanol is 9.8 Kcal/mol.
