Abstract
This paper presents the dynamic behaviour of a simple beam subjected to moving loads and prebending moments. The velocity of the moving loads is assumed constant, and the prebending moment is assumed to be M. The fundamental equation of motion of the beam is derived from the principle of virtual works and solved by using Duhamel's Integral.
