Abstract
A method to predict the three-dimensional turbulent boundary layer on ship forms is introduced. The present differential method is in the scope of thin boundary layer theory and adopting the eddy-viscosity turbulence model. Two different numerical schemes are taken in this paper to handle the sign-changing cross-flows. The method is applied to predict the boundary layer development on real ship forms; SSPA Model 720(
