Design of a Slotted Array Antenna

최근에 생산되는 X-band 용 레이다 안테나는 거의가 도파관에 슬로트들을 만들어 쓰고 있다. 슬로트들의 거리와 기울어진 각도를 적절히 조절하여 낮은 정재파비와 아주 얇은 부채꼴 빔 (fan beam)을 얻는데, 이 논문에서는 그 설계자료를 구하였다. 그 설계치에 따라 실제 제작된 안테나의 성능들을 측정하고 계산치와 비교 검토하였다.

Many of the modern radar antennas operated in the X-band frequencies are made of the slotted waveguides. Varying the distances between the slots and the skew angles of the each slot, we can synthesize a very sharp fan-beam as well as maintaining low standing wave ratio. This paper deals with the design data of the above antennas. We made a slotted array antenna with the data and measured the antenna parameters. And these were compared with the calculated values.
