A Study on the Effect of Yarn Tension on the Sewability

실의 장력이 가봉성에 미치는 영향

In order to investigate the effects of yarn tension on the seam strength, puckering, number of stitch and yarn tension in sewing machine some experiments were carried out. The results of experiemtn were concluded as following. 1. Higher yarn tension gave more numbers of stitch density. 2. Higher yarn tension gave more puckering. 3. The seam stregth was not affected by the yarn tension as long as the variation of yarn tension lies in the region of sewable limit.
