A Study on the Load Characteristics of IH (Induction Heating) Cookers

Abstract
This paper shows the load characteristics of IH (Induction Heating) Cookers which are those of essential appliances for electrifying residential buildings in smart places. Load experiments are carried out in the same manner as like previous two studies. The results will be used to develop new load models for smart places including heat pump loads for analyzing changed power system environments by the smart grid.
