Abstract
This paper proposes a program architecture integrating different engineering software packages, such as Auto-Cad, Excel and Magnet, for realizing an automatic motor analysis. Based on the architecture, the characteristic analysis of a PM-Assited Reluctance SynchronousMotor (PM-RSM) is automatically executed only if main input data of the motor are fed. To achieve this, API fuctions and Visual Basic Scripts provided by the software packages are thoroughly exploited.
