A Study on the reform of the railway freight transportation industry in Korea

This study suggests that low cost companies should be created and entered into rail freight market and rail freight operation should be integrated into road transportation to increase the competitiveness of rail freight transportation and to supply door-to-door services. Foreign Cases are bench marked and analysed.
