Abstract
Porous anodic aluminum oxide(AAO) templates prepared by anodizing method were used for growing multiwalled carbon nanotubes(CNTs). AAO templates with the homogeneous pore diameter and length were obtained by two step anodizing technique. Using AAO templates, vertically well-ordered two-dimensional carbon nanotube arrays were fabricated.
