Improvement of the Characteristics of Linear Induction Motor

This paper review the effects of the primary length, number of pole and stack width on the efficiency and power factor in linear induction motor. The effects of change of the primary current density on the primary weight, loss and temperature rise is investigated. As the criterion of goodness for SLTM's, the motor weight is considered.
