Abstract
A transverse flux linear induction motor is studied to assess the feasibility of its application in urban transportation and conveyor and so on. To analyze the TFLIM with E-type, the flux density, thrust and normal force is computed by using an analytical method and 2-D finite element method. TFLIM which the rated thrust is 50[N] is designed and experimented.
