  • Considering the complex relationship between fashion curating and the critical approach of fashion exhibition reviews, this study explores the current state of fashion criticism in museology, focusing on fashion designer exhibition reviews of Fashion Theory. The author selected eighteen exhibition reviews of individual fashion designers' works from 1997 on to the current 2020 issues of Fashion Theory, which provides an interdisciplinary forum to analyze fashion as a cultural construction. The author performed a systematic review that qualitatively summarizes and/or synthesizes the findings of the studies on the topic with the process of a systematic review, such as key question formulation, analytic framework building, evidence mapping, critical appraisal, and evidence synthesis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the exhibition reviews included almost all stages of the inclusive fashion criticism model, based on an artifact study. Second, they reflected various critical discourses that offered current interpretations of historical and contemporary fashion. Third, they showed that fashion criticism in the museum context is the result of an interdisciplinary collaboration of various fashion agents. Finally, they offered a bridge for crossing the boundaries of various scholarly fields, as they combine multidisciplinary scholarship with object-based methods.

  • Objectives: In the past, the pharmaceutical drug heparin was mostly used as the anticoagulant for continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), but the duration time is long to have the risk of a bleeding adverse effect, and in that case the drug therapy Nafamostat mesilate was utilized instead, as it is more safe in this case, with a short half-life and is increasing in use to permit lower concerns for bleeding incidents. However, there are insufficient number of large-scale studies on the comparison of Nafamostat mesilate and heparin. Methods: In this study, a systematic review are used to compare the bleeding risk of Nafamostat mesilate and Heparin, as subjected to patients and procedures for measuring risks performed with a CRRT, and the filter life span is to be evaluated as well in this patients. Results: As a result of literature review search, a total of 6 studies were included in systematic review. The reducing risk of bleeding and filter life span was analyzed. The retrospective cohort studies confirm that Nafamostat mesilate is less at risk of bleeding than heparin. And a cohort study confirms that Nafamostat mesilate is longer filter lifespan than heparin and randomized controlled trial studies show that Nafamostat mesilate is longer filter lifespan than not using the anticoagulants. Conclusion: Nafamostat mesilate is considered to be a good therapeutic option because it has a longer filter life span as well as the advantage of reducing bleeding.

  • Objectives: We conducted this study to evaluate the efficacy of Chuna Manual Therapy (CMT) for treatment of cervicogenic headache (CeH) through systematic review and Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) as a preceding research to further research the effective of Chuna Manual Therapy for patients who suffered from CeH. Methods: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines. We searched the studies from MEDLINE, Elsevier-EMBASE, The Cochrane Library, CAJD, KISS, KMBase, Korean Traditional Knowledge Portal, NDSL, and OASIS. The studies selected only in randomized controlled trials. We selected the chosen studies by the selection and the exclusion criteria, and evaluated the quality of the selected studies using the Jadad score and the Cochran ROB tool. We used the Visual Analogue Scale score (VAS) and Clinical total Effective Rate (CER) for the results and analyzed the results of the included studies using RevMan 5.3 software provided by the Cochran library. Results: We included 20 RCTs, including 1,673 subjects, in the systematic review and meta-analysis. After the intervention, the CMT group showed better results than the pharmacotherapy group, the physiotherapy group, and the combined treatment group. The CMT group showed a good effect on the CER and the VAS but showed a significant heterogeneity compared to the pharmacotherapy group. Conclusions: The CMT as monotherapy might have benefits on Cervicogenic Headache patient. Further well-designed studies need to be conducted.

  • Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate recent clinical studies on effect of acupuncture for rhinitis in other countries. We have analyzed the studies on effect of acupuncture for rhinitis within randomized controlled trial(RCT), reviewed for 11 years (from 2001 to 2011). Methods The search database includes PubMed. To narrow the search, the following key search terms were used: 'rhinitis, acupuncture'. The search was limited to the publication date from 2001 to 2011. Results Total 20 studies were selected: RCT(13), review(5), case report(1), and cost effectiveness study(1). In RCT, 9 studies used acupuncture only, and 8 studies of them have revealed that acupuncture is effective on rhinitis. In review, 3 studies are systematic review, 2 studies are no systematic review. Among systematic review, 2 studies have revealed partial effectiveness of acupuncture for rhinitis, but they suggested the necessity of further studies. Conclusions Domestic studies on effect of acupuncture for rhinitis are necessary. For more accurate results, controlled, large scale and well designed studies are recommended.

  • Objectives: The aims of this study were to conduct a systematic review of the microtensile bond strength (${\mu}TBS$) of multi-mode adhesives to dentin and to perform a meta-analysis to assess the significance of differences in the ${\mu}TBS$ of one of the most commonly used universal adhesives (Scotchbond Universal, 3M ESPE) depending on whether the etch-and-rinse or self-etch mode was used. Materials and Methods: An electronic search was performed of MEDLINE/PubMed, ScienceDirect, and EBSCOhost. Laboratory studies that evaluated the ${\mu}TBS$ of multi-mode adhesives to dentin using either the etch-and-rinse or self-etch mode were selected. A meta-analysis was conducted of the reviewed studies to quantify the differences in the ${\mu}TBS$ of Scotchbond Universal adhesive. Results: Only 10 studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria for the systematic review. Extensive variation was found in the restorative materials, testing methodologies, and failure mode in the reviewed articles. Furthermore, variation was also observed in the dimensions of the microtensile testing beams. The meta-analysis showed no statistically significant difference between the etch-and-rinse and self-etch modes for Scotchbond Universal adhesive (p > 0.05). Conclusions: Multi-mode 'universal' adhesives can achieve substantial bonding to dentin, regardless of the used modes (either etch-and-rinse or self-etch).

  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) has appeared as an absorbing architectural approach that empowers the available systems to reveal their performance in the act of services, without creating important changes to the systems. This approach, due to its flexibility of adoption, has been widely recognized as an appropriate approach for implementing in organizations by many scholars and practitioners. Though, there are many studies that depict success factors of SOA; at the same time a few minor cases of failure has also been reported in the literature. In spite of the availability of rich material on SOA (in general), there is no systematic literature review on the potential aspect of SOA adoption factors. Hence, this article presents a systematic review of existing studies related to the SOA adoption and its success and failure factors from 2009 to 2015. The principle purpose of the study is to bring forward the existing issues and share our findings with researchers. Moreover, the findings of this paper would help IT experts in organizations to concentrate on the key factors highlighted in this study, so that they could decide whether it is advisable to adopt SOA or not in their context.

  • Objectives : The study was done to verify the relation between early-onset androgenetic alopecia(AGA) and metabolic syndrome(MetS). Methods : Data were collected through electronic database including KoreaMed, National Assembly Library, KMBASE, NDSL, KCI, KERIS, Google Scholar, Pubmed, Cochrane CENTRAL and EBSCO MEDLINE. A total of 13 case-control studies related to the MetS of early-onset alopecia patients were used for the systematic review and meta-analysis. Risk of bias of included studies were assessed by RoBANS tool. RevMan5.3, CMA3 were used for the meta-analysis. Results : In 13 evaluated articles, most frequent bias was the participant selection bias that was found in 10 articles. Significant association between early-onset AGA and MetS was found in 10(76.9%) out of 13 articles in the systematic review. In meta-analysis, early-onset male AGA was associated with increased risk of metabolic syndrome(OR: 3.73, 95% CI:2.49 -5.61). Conclusions : AGA, particularly early -onset male AGA, is significantly associated with MetS. Therefore all patients with early onset male AGA should be suggested to take preventive treatment to reduce the risk of MetS and various problems associated with it.

  • Objective: This study was undertaken to systematically assess and summarize the effects of acupuncture on cortisol secretion. Materials and methods: We searched articles published up to May 2010 in six electronic databases (PubMed, Cochrane Library, KISS, KISTI, DBPIA, Kyobo Scholar). Randomized clinical trials (RCTs) which met all the inclusion criteria were reviewed. Eight RCTs were finally selected for this systematic review and assessed by three reviewers. The risk of bias was also estimated by using the Cochrane criteria. Results: Six RCTs reported no distinct difference of cortisol levels between control and experimental groups. Two RCTs reported significant differences of cortisol levels between groups; one reported the acupuncture group with markedly higher concentrations of cortisol while the other reported the opposite result. Conclusion: There are some difficulties in clearly identifying the effects of acupuncture on cortisol levels in this systematic review due to inconsistent results. Therefore, more rigorous trials with larger scales need to be conducted to clarify the effects of acupuncture on cortisol levels.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the current state of nursing intervention for maternal adaptation and its' effectiveness in Korea by utilizing a systematic review. Methods: The PICO(Population-Intervention-Compar ator-Outcome) strategy was established, and 1,720 pieces of literature published during the last ten-year period from four electronic databases were reviewed. Eighteen references that met inclusion and exclusion criteria were finally selected for systematic review. The quality of references using critical appraisal checklist for experimental studies were evaluated, and then systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted. Results: All 18 references were quasi-experimental research design. Most interventions were provided at the hospital and postpartum care center. Maternal adaptation interventions appeared to be of many types, and particularly maternal role education programs were the most common. Confidence in maternal role was used as the most common variable for the maternal adaptati on. Various interventions for helping maternal adaptation in the postnatal period improved maternal confidence, moth er-infant attachment, maternal satisfaction and mother-infant interaction effectively. Conclusion: A diversity of nursin g interventions in postnatal period improved various aspects of maternal adaptation. Randomized controlled trials and longitudinal studies are needed in order to verify the effect of interventions for maternal adaptation more clearly.
