In this paper, we implement a video conference system, which connects remote PCs. Each system receives video and audio data from devices attached to a PC and compresses them by using CODECs. It sends the compressed data to the opponent. Compared to the existing ones, the proposed system can combine two video streams into a new one. Thus, additional video data can be transferred to the opponent during a call.

This paper describes the design and implementation of video conference system using hybrid type P2P(Peer to Peer). The proposed video conference system has hybrid type P2P architecture based on a client-server and P2P(Peer to Peer), where client-server is used for exchange of account management, client list and status information and P2P is used for the real time video conference. The proposed video conference system decreases the traffic of server, and cuts down the load of a network. Because the multimedia data is decentralized to client by P2P. Also, this system is tested by the multi-party video conference system using communication protocol and application software through high speed networks.

By emphasize and enhance security in encryption of same viewdata in this research, constructed video conference system that apply real time video encryption techniques that confidentiality and integrity aspect are emphasized than video conference system that depend on existent user certification techniques. Sender's image transmits Vernam's encryption process to listener by packet. Listener can display image through image's decipher process and uncompress after unite receiving transmited image. This time, solved transmission speed delay problem by video's real time encryption using Vernam's algorithm that encryption and the decipher speed are fast. Simplification problem of Vernam algorithm wished to solve Session Key that use security Key that is used encipherment and decipher in channel between Client and Server using RSA algorithm.

In this paper, a design of the reliable video-conference system using CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) technology is proposed. When video-conference is run on the current existing Internet, the transmission delay problem for voice data traffic can be frequently occurred. In order to transmit the real-time voice data through the Internet efficiently, some complicated algorithms such as CODEC(Code/Decode) should be applied. It can cause further excessive processing delay which can affect the overall performance. The voice traffic is usually transmitted through the reliable PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) in the CTI system. In this paper a new architecture, in which PSTN for voice traffic and Internet for video traffic are used at the same time instead of using Internet by itself, is proposed to relieve the problems on a video conference.

In this paper, we propose the method in which multimedia data simultaneously transfers to the main memory and the multimedia processor from the network interface card to improve bottleneck of system bus through analysis for architecture of video conference system and input/output model. The proposed method can reduce the number of system bus accesses, bus cycles, data transmission time and compression ratio of video data in the video conference system. We compared the performance between the proposed method and the conventional methods in the multi-party video conference systems. The simulation results showed that the proposed method was reduced the transmission time of multimedia data than the conventional method.

A video-conference system is being utilized in web based application services in various fields due to the widespread use of Internet and the progress of computer technologies. This system should use the public IP address for sharing file and white board and it is difficult to manage the internal network users of the firewall and non-public IP address users. In this paper, we propose an Application Level Gateway which transforms non-public IP address into public IP address. This mechanism is for the internal network users of the firewall or non-public IP address users over the Internet. We also propose a Control Daemon which manages video and audio media dynamically according to network bandwidth. This mechanism can start and terminate a video conference and manage the process of the video conference.
