  • The purpose of this study was to raise some questions about the supply and demand statistics of fisheries products and to find implications for food supply and demand. There are three problems in the statistics of fisheries supply and demand. First, it is a structural problem of supply and demand statistics. Supply and demand statistics are not accurate because the feed, the amount of loss, and the waste rate are not surveyed. Second, the amount of fish used as a moist pellet is missing. Third, although some of the seaweed and kelp production is used as abalone feed, it is not classified as feed. Taking these results into consideration, at least 300,000 tons should be classified as feed for fisheries supply and demand statistics. As mentioned above, the current statistics on the supply and demand of fisheries are incomplete and structural improvement is needed.

  • Electrical construction business has public and professional characters. It may require appropriate interventions of the government because these business activities stand for not only profit-seeking competition, but also supplies of one of the key functions in our society. In other words, public benefit and private benefit are still in existence. The government therefore considers such an aspect of public importance of the business sector and needs to plan to adjust technical and engineering manpower of this market. This study focuses on the imbalance for labor supply and demand of technical engineer in electrical construction business. A system dynamics analysis is applied to understand and simulate the imbalance as a soft approach. It has the merit of causal loop diagram to alleviate the limitation of data lack problem. We find that excess demand is expected from 2010 to 2011, and excess supply is predicted from 2012 to 2021 about the manpower of technical engineer. It shows considerable disagreement between the supply and demand of human resource. So we suggest that it is strong necessity to construct statistics infrastructure for a manpower supply and demand plan.

  • The master plan for aggregate supply and demand aims to ensure the feasibility viability of mid/long-term aggregate supply and demand by establishing comprehensive plans for regional groups and aggregate types. In addition, It will propose ways to reduce the environmental impact of the development of aggregates and to stabilize aggregate supply and demand across the country. Also, it will seek to promote the stable development of the construction industry through policy and related amendments.

  • This study aims to provide the system to help decision making by finding key indicators used in land supply and demand surveys, and by developing storage priority areas and projects. As problems arose such as the rising cost of public projects or disruptions to business progress due to the rapid rise in land prices and the cost of compensation for public projects in the past, a new land policy was adopted and the land reserve system was established in 2009. At that time, The bank's goal was to conserve 2 trillion won of land per year, but the result was sluggish as it accumulated a total of 1.6 trillion won from 2009 to 2015. The reason for this sluggish result is that the type and quantity of indicators are still extensive and the survey of land supply and demand has a problem of poor utilization. In order to make up for the sluggishness, we made key indicators used in land supply and demand surveys using the question investigation, and analyzed the priority of the project areas. This study provide the system to help decision making by finding key indicators used in land supply and demand surveys, and the priorities of project areas.

  • This study purpose to analyze the present state of supply and demand, and training and management of production workers for solving problems of supply and demand, and training systems for production workers in the domestic construction field and suggest a supply and demand, and training and management model, which supports efficient inflow and capability strengthening of future production workers. When researching the present state of supply and demand of production workers in the construction field, it was found that mostly, production workers were employed via personnel connections of the heads of working groups, and both of skilled and unskilled workers were not smoothly supplied. In relation to training of production workers in the construction field, they were mostly trained through apprenticeship education·training, and the majority of skilled workers had an average level of skills. This study has significance by suggesting a supply and demand, and training and management model(plan) for settling problems of existing supply and demand, and training systems for production workers in the construction field, based on the survey with field managers and experts' advice.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of dental technicians on demand for this occupation, their occupational satisfaction and factors affecting the supply and demand of dental technicians. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire survey was carried out by having convenience sampling as 200 dental technicians who work in Seoul Metropolis, Gyeonggi-do Province, Chungnam-do Province from September 26, 2016 to October 15. An analysis of the collected data was computationally processed by using SPSS Win 19.0 program. An analytical technique was made by using statistical techniques such as frequency & percentage, T-test, One-way ANOVA or ANCOVA analysis. The following are the analytical results of the collected materials. Results: When the occupational satisfaction of the selected subjects was analyzed, there were significant differences according to academic credential, marital status, duties in charge, position and monthly income. Their preference for this occupation as a lifelong job significantly varied with age, academic credential, duties in charge, position and monthly income. Their turnover plans significantly differed with age, position, career and monthly income(p<.05). As a result of analyzing what factors affected manpower supply and demand, they placed a lot of importance on the areas of required time and satisfaction, and they attached a less importance to the areas of interpersonal relationships and workload. Their total average score in these areas was 3.06. Conclusion: As a result of research, the manpower supply and demand factors that exerted significant influences on occupational satisfaction were pride. required time and the appropriateness of the number of workers, and the manpower supply and demand factors that had significant impacts on job preference as a lifelong occupation were satisfaction, pride and the appropriateness of the number of workers. The manpower supply and demand factors that affected turnover plans in a significant way were pride, satisfaction and the appropriateness of the number of workers.

  • After restructuring electricity industry, national long term electricity plans moved to "Basic plan of electricity supply and demand" from "Long term power development plan". The main point is a change of path from plan of power development at national level to plan of electricity supply and demand at company level. A proposal by generation company is surveyed and reflected to the basic plan of electricity supply and demand. The second plan shows over 40% reserves in result of the proposals. It is the time to evaluating the proposal which covers market function in the basic plan of electricity supply and demand at the stage of market change. This research presents the need of evaluation of proposals and the methods of evaluation. Also it presents the alternative planning procedure to reflecting the evaluation methods.

  • In order to respond the opening of technology market by the agreement with WTO, the mutual authentication of professional engineers (PEs) by nh, and the promotion and encouragement of education in technology, the preparation of robustic regulation and regal system to secure the authority of PEs and to enhance their quality is required. And a scheme to train PEs with the advanced country level of quality and secure the practical use of PE's expertise should be developed to cope with current issues after the survey of supply and demand for PEs. In this paper, the problem of supply and demand of construction PEs is surveyed under the current regal system and the idea to regulate the supply and demand with the improvement of the regal system is suggested. The result of this research is used for building the supply and demand system of quality PEs and the efficient training and practical arrangement system. Furthermore, the result would be used for the fundamental data to establish the government policy about PEs.

  • Since national GHG reduction target by 2020 has been presented in Korea, the role of railroad has been reinforced within transport system due to the allocation of reduction target into sector. So, it is necessary to manage activity data systematically for the calculation of GHG emission in railroad. Now, the activity data of diesel consumption for NIR(National Inventory Report) are provided from oil supply and demand statistics. On the other hands, the activity data collected directly from railroad operating companies are used for GHG & Energy Target Management Act. This study aimed to assess the GHG emissions using two kinds of activity data related to the diesel consumption of railroad in 2009 and 2010. As a result, GHG emissions based on oil supply and demand statistics was 636 thousands ton $CO_{2e}$, but the activity data collected from railroad operating companies showed 649 thousands ton $CO_{2e}$ in 2009. Also, the gap of $CO_{2e}$ emission was increased in 2010. These trends were caused because oil supply and demand statistics included total diesel sales volume during 1 year and the activity data collected from railroad operating companies were the amount of diesel consumption only at railcar operation and maintenance step. In conclusion, it is important to develop the management and verification system of activity data with high reliability to substitute oil supply and demand statistics in railroad sector.
