Sensitivity analysis of time-dependent behaviors of PSC flexural members (프리스트레스트 훰 부재의 시간 종속적 거동에 관한 민감도 해석)

  • A general procedure to implement the sensitivity analysis of PSC flexural members is proposed based on the analytical calculation of the gradients of stresses and strains with respect to the 21 design variables in a closed format. The formulation covers the long term losses including concrete creep, shrinkage, and PS steel relaxation as well as load effects. The derived formulation is applied to the rectangular section PSC beam with prestressing and nonprestressing steels for the sensitivity analysis. The analytically calculated sensitivity results are compared with those numerically calculated.

  • The optimal blank design method by sensitivity analysis has been applied to the formings of oil-pan, tailored blank and front panel as the examples. Die geometry is prepared by a commercial CAD system. Excellent results has been obtained between the numerical results and the target contour shapes. Through the investigation, the proposed systematic method of optimal blank design is found to be effective in the practical forming processes.

  • A markov chain is used to derive the models for determining the size of persons to be promoted and for conducting the sensitivity analysis of promotion probabilities. To compute the former case a future wastage rate is forecasted by using the double exponential smoothing method. The model for sensitivity analysis is used to simulate the impact of change in graded-size targets and hiring policy on the promotion probabilities.

  • In this paper, under some suitable conditions and in virtue of a selection which depends on a vector-valued function and a feasible set map, the sensitivity analysis of a class of implicit multifunctions is investigated. Moreover, by using the results established, the solution sets of parametric vector optimization problems are studied.

  • Shin, Tarumi and Tanaka(1989) discussed a method of sensitivity analysis in principal component regression(PCR) based on an influence function derived by Tanaka(1988). The present paper is its continuation. In this paper we first consider two new influence measures, then apply the proposed method to various data sets and discuss some properties of sensitivity analysis in PCR.

The present results improve and extend many known results in the literature.

  • In this paper, a sensitivity analysis is proceeded to improve the network of manufacturing process by converting the qualitative network into GERT Network and by finding equivalent probability, MFG's of variables and sensitivity equation in GERT Network. Sensitivity analysis of GERT Network is important in evaluating, reviewing and improving system. System improvement in GERT Network is achieved by increasing the equivalent probability and by decreasing the equivalent time.

  • This paper addresses sensitivity analysis for a deterministic multi-period production and inventory model. The model assumes a piecewise linear cost structure, but permits backlogging of unsatisfied demand. Our approach to sensitivity analysis here can be divided into two basic steps; (1) to find the optimal production policy through a forward dynamic programming algorithm similar to the backward version of Zangwill [1966] and (2) to apply the penalty network approach by the author [1986] in order to derive sensitivity ranges for various model parameters. Computational aspects are discussed and topics of further research are suggested.
