Real-Time Travelling Control of Mobile Robot by Conversation Function Based on Voice Command (대화기능에 의한 모바일로봇의 실시간 주행제어)

  • We describe a research about remote control of mobile robot based on voice command in this paper. Through real-time remote control and wireless network capabilities of an unmanned remote-control experiments and Home Security / exercise with an unmanned robot, remote control and voice recognition and voice transmission are possible to transmit on a PC using a microphone to control a robot to pinpoint of the source. Speech recognition can be controlled robot by using a remote control. In this research, speech recognition speed and direction of self-driving robot were controlled by a wireless remote control in order to verify the performance of mobile robot with two drives.

  • Sequential Function Chart(SFC) is very easy to grasp the sequential flow of control logic and has the compatability for a maintenance, In process control, when an error is occurred, to execute other routine by force, we control the process by remote control.   • Remote control for consumer electronics products that nowadays are divided by the state only performs each function. In any case, there is also the case that the number of losing too many messes Where remote control. In this paper, the reason and remote control using infrared remote control transmission, will be able to see the modulation method of the received remote control method. The experiment will be able to see that by looking at the LCD to ATmega128 control home appliances (TV, air conditioning, etc.). As a result, it will be able to deal with a single remote control electronics to reduce the number of the remote control to handle all further electronics in the home.

  • The remote control system, in which the remote control server and the actuator are connected and operated through a wireless network, has a great potential risk as well as its convenience. The control commands can be lost because of unreliable wireless channels. The intelligent remote control system is a system that adds a function to infer a control command to the actuator to operate even if the control command is not received. In this paper, we implemented an intelligent remote control system testbed and confirmed the problems that could occur in the remote control system through experiments and verified that the intelligent remote control system solves the problem. The intelligent remote control system can achieve the performance that can be achieved when general remote control system has high communication overhead with less communication overhead.

  • In recent, the demand of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that can autonomous navigation and remote control has been increased in military, civil and commercial field. Particularly, existing researches focused on autonomous navigation method based on vanish point and remote control method based on event processing in indoor environments. However, the existing methods have some problems. For instance, a detected vanish point in intersection point has too much detection errors. In addition, the delay is increased in existing remote control system for processing images in real time. Thus, we propose improved vanish point algorithm by removing detection errors in intersection point. We also develop a remote control system with android platform by separating flying control and image process. Finally, we compare the proposed methods with existing methods to show the improvement of our approaches.

  • This study is aimed to develope a remote control ship for acquisition of various underwater information. Remote control ship equipped with GPS, echosounder, sidescan sonar, subbottom profiler. Remote control ship is an automatic system for acquisition of inland water and coast information. For the development of remote control ship, underwater information acquisition of reservoir, dam, polluted area is expected. Also, multibeam echosounder, image sensor, water analysis sensor, etc. could be equipped in one ship. So robot-ship will be applied for the most part of industry managing water resources and preventing the flood by making bed topographic map and estimating water volumes.

  • This paper presents an XML based standard specification of remote control protocol for home appliances. In the framework level, the XML protocol provides a useful bridge between services and platforms. The proposed protocol has been implemented into a personal video recorder for remote recording service. The results imply the potential of global standards for remote control by its minimum overhead in network and processor. The proposed XML is designated RCXML in this paper.
