Techniques of deformations measurement in Electric Power structure by using Close Range Photogrammetry (근거리사진측량을 이용한 전력구조물의 미소변위 측정기법)

  • One of the often espoused merits of close-range photogrammetry is the effectiveness of the method for measuring non-accessible objects of unusual and complex shape. In this study, techniques of deformation measurement using close-range photogrammetry for electric power structures were developed. Absolute deformation could be found efficiently through close-range photogrammetry in the structure deformation analysis based on time variation. Also, feasibility of the structures management system was presented based on this study.

  • From early plane-table photogrammetry through the analog and analytical stages, photogrammetry has now reached the digital photogrammetry stage using the image stored at computers. Digital Photogrammetry using aerial photograph generates the DTM and digital orthophoto. Expecially, DTM is important for improving the accuracy of digital ortho photo. so Many experimental are required. In this study, therefore deals with the generation process of digital orthophotos using DTM with breakline and without breakline.

  • Digital photogrammetry workstations are usually based on independent systems which are both expensive and complex. In this paper, through Web Processing Service, which is an Open Geospatial Consortium standard for GIS, is applied to suggest a new approach for processing photogrammetry tasks. WPS profiling is a procedure that defines generic unit process and then categorizes these processes for a specific task. The WPS profile for aerial photogrammetry was designed in this paper to help users to reuse the processes of the profile in different combinations for different tasks.

  • Digital photogrammetry is one of the powerful tools for surveying in more perceptual ways and exploiting the continuously developing computer technology. Nowadays, digital photogrammetry is being used for a number of industrial measurements and inspections but the automation aspect of this technique is not fully developed yet. Photogrammetric work, which is obtained through usual workflow, delays for a big amount of CGP surveying, interpretation and cadastral information. Therefore through studying ways of reducing the volume of photogrammetric works, financial opportunities for digital photogrammetry can be found. This research is focused on the development of the new workflow and study algorithm in digital photogrammetry. Using this result we can reduce financial expenses and improve technologies of topographic and cadastral plans creation.

  • Recently, the development of sensor technology has led to an increase in research on unmanned aerial photogrammetry in various fields such as digital mapping, monitoring, cadastral survey, coastal survey, and topographic survey. However, existing studies are mainly limited experiments and analysis of specific application field, which is insufficient to demonstrate the validity of unmanned aerial photogrammetry for geospatial information construction. In this study, the studies related to the accuracy of unmanned aerial photogrammetry were investigated. The flight altitude and accuracy of horizontal direction is proportional to the GSD by analyzing the results of the individual studies conducted on the unmanned aerial photogrammetry within the last 5 years. In addition, the accuracy of the evaluation results varied widely according to the experimental conditions, and the problems of the previous studies that lacked the number of samples to evaluate the results were identified. A total accuracy analysis of 322 checkpoints yielded an accuracy of 0.028m in the horizontal direction and 0.044m in the vertical direction. In the future, the results of this study can be used as a basis for the validity of spatial information construction using unmanned aerial photogrammetry.

A Study on Accuracy of Position Analysis by Non-metric photo (비측량용 사진에 의한 위치해석의 정확도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the accuracy of non-metric photos by close-range photogrammetry. Close-range photogrammetry using non-metric photos is 'economical and convenient to handle, but it is insufficient of study on accuracy. To execute this study, first, the terrain model was made and then taken photographs of this model with metric and non-metric cameras. The Bundle adjustment and the Direct linear transformation methods are used for the analysis close-range photogrammetry. The results of the analysis showed that the Bundle adjustment method is a appropriate method for the analysis of the non-netric photo. Therefore, we concluded that the accuracy of the non-metric photo by close-range photogrammetry is applicability for the photogrammetry.
