The recent global economic crisis has resulted in increased discussion and attention on the sharing economy, a form of economic activity where individuals share currently available products. This study investigates consumer sharing economy usage attitudes and usage intentions by applying rational choice theory. For this study, an investigation that had 400 adult consumers from across Korea answer a structured questionnaire was conducted. A statistical approach using SPSS ver. 22.0 was used to analyze the data. The study found that the consumer's sharing economy value and participation levels were higher than usual. Higher than usual consumption patterns were seen for the construct of rational behavior theory. An analysis of the relative influence of variables regarding sharing economy usage intention also found that usage intention was higher for those who had experienced using a sharing economy services rather than those who did not have experience. In addition, the sharing economy usage intention also increased along with the values for subjective norms, sharing economy usage attitudes, sharing economy participation, sharing economy emotional benefits, and increased values. This study found that fundamental materials for consumer education should be made to eliminate difficulties that consumers have when they use sharing economy services. It is also expected that economic policy will develop to stimulate the sharing economy in a stable manner, that sharing economy-related information will be provided to consumers, and that consumer policies will be prepared to prevent consumer problems before they occur.

This study examines the level of consumer knowledge regarding the concept and characteristics of the sharing economy along with the role of the three economic players in the sharing economy. This study develops scales for measuring a consumer's knowledge level and the knowledge level using these scales as well as analyzes the impact of knowledge levels, socio-demographic variables, social capital, and knowledge sharing on participation in the sharing economy. The scales measuring the level of knowledge in the sharing economy were composed of 22 questions for the concept, 30 questions for the characteristics, and 15 questions for the role of the economic parties. Consumer's knowledge level regarding the concept and characteristics of the sharing economy and the role of the economic players was very low. In particular, the knowledge on the concept was insufficient. Women's knowledge on the sharing economy showed higher scores than men. Consumers with higher scores in social capital and knowledge sharing showed higher scores of the knowledge level on the sharing economy than those behind in these two variables. A higher knowledge level of the sharing economy resulted in higher participation in the sharing economy. Issues and directions for future studies on the sharing economy were proposed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between young housewives’economy consciousness and economy behavior. The data used in this study were taken from 429 housewives between 20's and 35's who have at least one child with their spouse in Seoul The results of this study were as follows : First, the general trend of the economy consciousness and behavior in living resources was that the level of consciousness is more higher than the level of behavior. Second, the degree of employed wives' economy behavior was more passive than that of house wives’behavior. Third, housewives’economy consciousness and behavior showed a significant difference in their education level, family income and number of children. Fourth, from the Regression Analysis, the Model was accounting for 45% of the variance. Influential variables on housewives’economy consciousness and behavior were self esteem, the inside and outside control, perception of the adequacy of resources. Fifth, out of sub- variables about housewives’economy consciousness and behavior, energy resources was relatively at the high level.

The hydrogen economy is still a niche market and a new system. If we believe in the optimism and the hope of human history of technological progress, the hydrogen economy will be a new paradigm to replace the carbon economy. The research question is what kind of leadership the government should show in order to revitalize the hydrogen economy. In response to the research question, this study highlights the governance leadership. The new economy must be newly recognized before they can find a solution. This research can be the first step in finding the way.

Paradigm of Global economy is changing to creative economy. This study focuses on the role of creative economy to clarify (understand clearly) the impact (influence) which transition of economy system will bring about. The creative economy is basically came from New economy theory. According to the New economy theory, a state can achieve sustainable growth without an inflation, or higher growth rate under given inflation rate, through an investment on ICT. However, different from America, Korea had limited effect of New Economy. This is because Korean economy had factor-input driven growth model rather than New Economy mechanism. However, ICT is essential requirement to move toward New Economy(Digital Economy), it does not sufficiently explain the increase of productivity and economic growth. A crucial point to realize New economy is how to diffuse and spill over the technology development on ICT sector to other industry. ICT is not creative industry or creative economy per se, and it should play as an enabler to improve other industry's productivity. The creative economy can be understood as an extension of New Economy theory. It means the economy that creates values by cultural assets and human resource, as well as capital and labor factors. However, if we understand the meaning of creative economy as change of input factors, it is hard to bring real shape of creative economy.

To improve the vehicle fuel economy, various technologies such as improvement of power train efficiency, use of light weight material, improvement of aerodynamic design, have been studied. One of the possible way to improve the vehicle fuel economy is to reduce the engine friction loss by improving the engine oil characteristics. In the present paper, it was examined the effect of the engine oil viscosity and the addition of friction modifier to engine oil on vehicle fuel economy improvements. Moreover, the effect of engine oil degradation on vehicle fuel economy was examined with two gasoline vehicles and one diesel vehicle by using the fuel economy test facility.

The driving patterns in Seoul metropolitan area were surveyed in an experiment involving 1,212km of driving along seventeen representative routes. The speed and fuel consumption data were recorded and the influence of driving patterns on vehicle fuel economy was analyzed by statistical techniques. The results showed that characteristics of driving in Seoul metropolitan area are far different from that of CVS-75 mode and then on-road fuel economy in Seoul may be small as compared with that of CVS-75 mode. Finally, it was proposed that CVS-75 mode fuel economy should be modified by applying adjustment factor to represent actual on-road fuel economy.

Recently it is strongly required to develop the better fuel economy as well as basic power performance based on strict emission legislation. This paper focuses on studies of the engine cooling and ancillaries system among fuel economy factors in the developing stage. Firstly through the analysis of the current specifications, it is assessed whether each components may be designed properly, not overdesigned. Secondly, it is predicted how the fuel economy of each components can be improved. Finally the results are confirmed by vehicle field test equppted with the updatedcomponents. This study found good agreementbetween the prediction and the field test on the vehicle fuel economy improvements of the heavy duty engine vehicle with updated components such as engine cooling and ancilliaries.

In order to improve the fuel economy by design change of automatic transmission, various technologies such as increased shift stages, slip control of lock-up clutch and compact and low-weight design have been developed. And also many OEMs have developed their own ATFs as a part of these automatic transmissions. In this study. to investigate the effects of ATF characteristics on fuel economy, we got the worldwide OEM ATFs and made some reference fluids. And physical properties, frictional characteristics and fuel economy using dynamometer test for these fluids were evaluated. From the investigation, it was found that viscosities of ATFs are correlated with fuel economy in dynamometer test and reducing the viscosities made it possible to obtain fuel economy.

Our main concerns in this paper are with the several kinds of social economy organization in rural South Korea, in where social exclusion is likely to be prevalent over time. Approximately, there are 2,500~3,000 social economy organizations which have been set up from 1990s. Most of their operational social aims are either to offer jobs or to provide social services for the vulnerable social groups in rural communities. They have several normative principles as a social economy organization. But the two principles were less supported than the others; 1) the community's initiative and participation, and 2) sharing surplus with community. The social economy organizations are involved in various types of business. The greatest number of social economy organizations are doing businesses in agriculture and agro-industry. On average, their value of asset is worth of 300 million wons. They are indebted for 130 million wons, averagely. Their average surplus is 110 million wons. Most of them are small businesses. It is enough to say that the social economy is at an early stage in rural South Korea. The social economy is confronted with some challenges, as follows. Firstly, the social economy organizers should be based on the needs of community in both setting up a new social economy organization and managing businesses. Secondly, networking and cooperation between social economy organizations should be expanded and strengthened. Thirdly, the sound governance with public sector should be built.
