Especially, since digital storytelling is the core of the digital game, it is a tendency to develop content in consideration of the strategy of transmedia storytelling at the planning stage even for IP expansion. By fusing media in a variety of ways and expanding the story, players can experience meaningful storytelling in a new media environment and game loyalty allows game developers to expand and innovate their businesses. In this study, we analyzed the case of , a proven powerful IP that has been expanding its story to various media for more than 20 years in order to investigate the transmedia storytelling strategy based on game media. I would like to take a look at the strategy of using the transmedia storytelling.

  • This study aims to investigate how the storytelling elements of brand webtoon has influence on developing brand webtoon users' parasocial interaction relationship and their attitude towards brand webtoon contents and word of mouth intention. The results of this study shows that parasocial interaction is strongly influenced by the sub-dimensions of digital storytelling components of brand webtoon (i.e., relevance, trustworthiness, clarity). More specifically, respondents who perceive that the given message of digital storytelling in brand webtoons is relevant to the brand, is trustworthy, and is clear to understand show a higher degree of parasocial interaction with the webtoon content and in turn, it has a strong positive influence on the attitude towards the brand webtoon. In sum, this study not only provides a theoretical foundation to understand how consumers develop parasocial interaction with brand webtoons in terms of the brand webtoon's digital storytelling, but this study has implications for practitioners who are interested in using a brand webtoon for marketing.

  • Storytelling in games is different from storytelling in other media in that it must interact with the user. The existing storytelling engine is not appropriate for interactive storytelling in games, so interactive storytelling engine is developed to supplement this shortcoming. However, the interactive storytelling engine uses methods that manages game events. Thus it is not appropriate for games with stories that are composed mainly of characters. This research examines the defects to propose improvement suggestions to apply the existing storytelling engine to games. This would be useful in developing stories that interact with the player in games.

  • Modern society is the era of convergence, and storytelling requires the necessity of storytelling in which two types of data types, emotional stories and information, are fused. Particularly, in the case of VR contents, the user must directly participate in the content and select the information through the process of freely searching $360^{\circ}$ space, so that the user can interact with the content immediately. Therefore, there is a limit to access to the existing storytelling method, and it is considered that the implementation of 'convergent storytelling' that meets two areas of sensitivity and information is considered to be an urgent genre. In this paper, we focus on the spatial characteristics of VR contents, and then, as a way to effectively implement 'convergent storytelling' in VR contents, We propose a custom system by organizing the type into a circle structure. Based on this, it is expected that the technology will be developed into a research of a personalized system that meets two areas of emotion and information by utilizing the context recognition process for VR content and interaction in the fourth industrial revolution era.

  • The research about methodology to educate professional storytellers should be done very actively. As many people became interested in digital storytelling lately, many theoretical researches about game storytelling are being made in varied aspects. However, systematic methodology to educate game storytellers still remains in theoretic level, so that we can hardly find the outputs brought by the fusion of practical and theoretical knowledges. In this paper, I made a list of 4 core e1ements(character, event, world view, interactive factors of game) which construct the narratives of games to elevate the quality of practical game storytelling. The goal of this research is to complete the practical information list in detail, in order to deliver storytellers' creative ideas precisely to the game designers in every parts.

  • As digital broadcasting process and information compressing technologies developed, digital technologies have been used extensively in many visual media such as movies and TV programs, and it is required to develop a new process for 3 dimensional digital programs. The study attempts to develop a new digital video-producing process through pre-simulation using a digital storytelling method, in order to increase the quality of broadcasting, reducing the producing time and improve efficiency. This system, supposed to be used to produce actual broadcasting, includes all tools needed for broadcasting in the program, so users can select an appropriate set among the pre-made library, which saves time for making sets. Also, it offers a storyboard making function by perfectly representing the functions of a virtual camera, and enables users to make the better storyboard, checking the real time movies. In addition, it recognizes objects though avatars, organizes the appropriate set for these avatars to act, and embodies a variety of avatar movements through which it reaffirms the camera's position and organization, minimizing errors and saving time and budget.

  • The study proposed new approach for the developing a game addiction treatment program using digital storytelling. We chose 5 types of multimedia elements as educational contents for digital storytelling learning and prepared the teaching strategy for game addiction treatment. We applied the proposed program to 5 students who were included the high risk-user group of game addiction. We also conducted the game addiction tendency test, game usage time test, interview and the effectiveness test of proposed program. As a result of tests, the proposed program showed a positive effect that reduced the game addiction tendency. In the effectiveness test of proposed program, we found the result that 5 experimenters were improved the immersions, challenges, and social interaction, sense of accomplishment in digital storytelling program. We expect that this study will provide positive role and new education strategy for game addiction treatment.
