A Study on Alternatives Database Construction for a Efficient Levee Management (효율적 제방관리를 위한 DB구축 방안 연구)

  • 우리나라의 물관련 정보는 국토해양부 및 관련 기관에서 구축 및 운영, 개발 중에 있다. 이러한 시스템들은 치수, 이수, 환경 및 생태분야에 다양한 정보를 제공하고 있으나 제방에 관련된 다양하고 구체적인 정보를 획득하지 못하며, 시스템 DB간의 상호 연계가 어려운 실정이다. 따라서 제방에 대한 DB관리 및 향후 제방의 안전모니터링을 위해 정확하고 다양한 제방관련 DB구축이 요구된다. 이러한 제방관련 DB구축을 위한 과정은 다음과 같다. 제방제원 및 관리정보의 DB구축을 위하여 국내에서 수행하고 있는 사업인 하천일람의 "하천이력관리체계", 유역조사사업의 "WAMIS", 하천정보를 제공하고 있는 "RIMGIS"의 관련 자료를 분석한다. 기구축된 시스템과의 연계를 고려하여 물관리정보 표준과 RIMGIS 관련코드를 적용한 도형 및 속성 정보의 테이블 설계를 수행하며, 기구축된 시스템의 제방관련 수집자료 DB 및 관련 항목을 추가함으로써 제방제원 및 관리정보의 DB를 구축하도록 한다. 또한 향후 제방의 안전모니터링을 위한 관련항목을 포함하여 제방 유지 및 보수에 활용될 수 있도록 한다. 제방관련 DB구축은 치수시설물 안전모니터링의 기초를 마련하여 홍수방어 및 관리시스템 구축에 활용되어 인명 및 재산피해를 절감하고 기술수준을 향상시킴으로서 홍수 재해로부터 안전한 국토 건설 및 국민의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 것이다. 이러한 제방관련 DB구축은 기구축된 시스템과 연계하여 국가 홍수관리 시스템 구축, 치수능력증대, 장래유역단위 통합홍수방어 및 관리기술 개발에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this study is to discuss the theoretical and practical strategies for the quality management of a union database built in a distributed system. To the end, this study introduces the quality control methods employed for the OCLC union catalog, which has been built in a distributed system and also known as the most typical union DB. The main discussion is about the quality issue of KORDIC's SATURN DB, the most typical union DB in South Korea. The final recommendation includes the management strategies and practical guidelines for the efficient quality control of a union DB built in a distributed system.

  • The government is spending a large amount of budget to establish NGIS due to the importance of geospatial information. This paper deals with the study of schema mapping technique which can efficiently establish military topographic DB forest layer using digital forest map and other existing geospatial DB. In order to accomplish this each schema of these types of DB was analyzed then, mapping table which connects related attributes was created and finally, military topographical DB forest layer of the area of interest was efficiently established. This research was able to display solutions that resolved compatibility issues between existing geospatial DB of these types, established by the schema mapping techniques described in this research.

  • The purpose of this study is to design the solution for creating full-text database of Korean dissertaion, After considering file formats for text based and image based database, Viewer, Search, Copy Right, Abstracts and Indexes, situation of Korea University Library, decided the principles of creating database. And suggested the design to produce the database for Korea University Library, that is easy to get file format conversion in case of the introducing new technology for the future.

  • Recently, a great number of natural disasters have more frequently happened than the past. The National Emergency Management Agency of Korea has made preparation for the integrated management system of steep slope lands. There is information based on the steep slope inspection sheets and the underground spatial information related to the prevention against steep slope disasters. Nevertheless, building a complete DB System to prevent the hazards and secure the safeties should be urgently dealt with. It is mainly because the information of the National Disaster Management System is restricted to the text-based brief data. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest the method as to building steep slope DB system for disaster prevention and maximizing the availabilities. This study shows the way of building a web-based DB system having its root in the steep slope inspection sheets. The method of establishing the ideal DB system that has liaisons between the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the National Emergency Management Agency is discussed in this study. Furthermore the optimization of DB utilization will assist the various integrated steep slope management systems based on U-IT which are ongoing projects.

  • The national spatial information systems project which is promoted by our country has been extended from existing 2-D geographic information to 3-D spatial information as the basic geo-spatial Information. Most of the construction of the ground geo-spatial information are completed or underway, on the other hand, the construction of the subsurface geo-spatial information has difficulty caused by the lack of the drilling data characterizing the subsurface. In terms of the construction of the geo-spatial information of the subsurface, the subsurface information is constructed and managed by the domestic institutions, but the subsurface information which is possessed by the institutions was not shared mutually so it is managed inefficiently. This study presented the 3-D national underground information DB design by dividing with the ground DB item which configures the state of the ground and the soil DB item which configures the state of the soil in order to increase the efficiency of the construction of the subsurface spatial information. The implementation & utilization of the national underground information application technology was reviewed by applying the constructed DB to the actual model area, and the national underground information knowledge-based community establishment plan was presented.

  • Having been speed development of The Information Technology, Local Governments have been constructed the GIS(Geographical Information System) for supporting regional development. This paper will intend to find the problems of constructing spatial DB, the scheme of solving the problems. In addition, this paper will intended to present the direction of establishing spatial DB, which reviewed the case of Naju City on constructing GIS.

  • 인하우스 DB는 기업 자체적으로 경영전반에 관한 인사, 조직, 생산 및 영업활동을 포함한 기업내.외부의 모든 자료를 일관된 체계로 구축, 운영할 수 있도록 제작한 DB를 말한다. 자체적으로 모든 외부용역에 의해서 구축되며, 상용 DB와는 구별되는 기업내에서만 활용되는 DB이다. 한국정보통신진흥협회에서는 국내 각 기업체에서 개발.구축, 운영되고 있는 인하우스 DB에 관해서 '95년 7월말부터 8월초에 걸쳐 설문조사를 실시했다. 인하우스DB실태조사는 국내 처음 실시한 것으로 이를 요약한다.

  • 그동안 수처리 분야에서는 자체 DB가 탑재된 DCS 시스템을 통한 운영이 주를 이루었다. 본 사는 최근 수행한 프로젝트를 통해서 상용 DBMS인 Oracle9i를 사용하여 수처리 DB를 구축하였고, 구축된 DB는 현장에서 실제 수처리 시설의 운영에 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 수처리 분야에서 상용 DBMS를 사용한 DB 구축과 운영 시스템 개발 전반에 관한 내용이다.

A Point-Of-Interest Allomorph Database Construction System (POI 이형태 데이타베이스 구축 시스템)

  • People use various information for searching POI in the navigation system such as name, category, address, phone number. Most of users use name and category to search their POT. They don't know exact name in POI DB provided by Maker. They use abbreviated or generalized name as key word for searching POI. Because of these reasons, the hit ratio has been very low. In this paper, We suggest a extra DB_construction system for raising the hit ratio. It generates allomorphes DB link to the POI name in original DB. We classified the POI names in original DB into seven types of allomorph by analyzing the gathered patterns from the POI DB which has over 650,000 entries. For auto_generating the allomorphes, we made 577 rules based on the classified types. And we generated the allomorphes manually for the entries which are difficult to make the rule and has low frequency The generated allomorphes account for 35.8% of all original DB. The hit ratio is 89% under suggested system.
