The Structural Relationship among Learning Goal Orientation, Creativity, Working Smart, Working Hard, and Work Performance of Salespersons (영업사원의 학습목표지향성, 창의성, 업무방법, 업무강도, 업무성과의 구조적 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to specify a structural relationship among learning goal orientation(LGO), creativity, working smart, working hard, and work performance of salespersons, verify the direct and indirect effect of variables, and examine impacts of the five factors at the same time. Also, this carried out the study to understand the relationship between the salesperson's creativity and work performance. This study targeted for salespersons who were working in various industries and total 588 were participated via on-line. According to the study, the result is as follows. First of all, There are direct effects among LGO, creativity, working smart, and work performance. However, working hard didn't have any direct effect with any other variables. Creativity and working smart have indirect effects on the relationship between LGO and job performance. In addition, the mediating effect of the model with creativity was higher than that of the model without creativity. Therefore, creativity is an individual competency that should be continuously developed to improve the work performance of a salesperson.

  • This study aims to examine a relationship between creativity and work performance of salespersons, and understand how the relationship between salesperson's creativity and their work performance changed depending on the classification of sales business and the industrial category. An on-line survey was targeted for salespersons who were working in consumer goods sales, industry materials sales, financial business, and service industry. A total number of the completed surveys was 588. According to the study, creativity is an important competency to improve salespersons' work performance. Also, companies should focus on the investment in developing creativity of employees who are in charge of industrial materials sales compared to people in other industrial categories.

  • This paper abstracts the key factors affecting business performance by ERP system at university in China and suggests how to use ERP system effectively at university. Main results are as follows: First, concern and support by CEO affects personal business performance of ERP. Second, ERP system education affects organizational business performance of ERP. Third, concern and support by CEO affects business enhancement performance of ERP.

Are Coffee Breaks Good for Performance?: A Perspective on Non-Work-Related Activities (커피 브레이크는 성과에 도움이 되는가?: 업무 외적인 활동 관점)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate non-work relating activities at work. To do this, this paper proposes and analyzes a simple theoretical model consisting of factors such as non-work relating smartphone usage during working hours, non-work relating coffee break during working hours, work after working hours, and job performance. Our findings are revealed as following: First, non-work-related coffee break has positive effect on performance. Second, non-work-related smartphone usage generally has negative effect on performance, but it has positive effect on performance in personal communication with co-workers. Third, work after working hours has negative effect on performance.

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the level of SCM activity, marketing capability, and firm performance for apparel firms, and to investigate the effect of SCM activities and marketing capabilities for firm performance improvement. This study surveyed domestic apparel manufacturing brands that distribute products nationwide. The data was collected through questionnaires sent to managers or executives in large and middle manufacturing corporations among Korea's listed and registered corporations. The data collection has been carried out from November 10 until December 11, 2006. The questionnaires were transmitted by individual visit, fax, and mail. A total of 98 completed responses were returned, three incomplete responses were discarded. The results were as follows: First, SCM activity was classified into 3 dimensions: structural, logistical, and technological factor. Three dimensions of marketing capability were identified with differentiation, cost-leadership, and operational factor. Firm performance was classified into three dimensions: financial, productivity, and customer satisfaction factor. Second, result of analyzing effects of SCM activities for firm performance improvement, it was found that the improvement of technological activities affected acquirement of financial, productivity, and customer satisfaction performs. Structural activities affected factor of productivity performs. Third, result of analyzing effects of marketing capabilities for firm performance improvement, improvement of differentiation capabilities affected acquirement of financial, customer satisfaction performs. And the improvement of operational capability affected acquirement of financial performs and improvement of cost-leadership capability affected factor of productivity performs.

중소기업의 ERP 도입이 업무성과에 미치는 영향

  • 정부는 중소기업의 업무성과(업무처리의 신속성과 능력 향상, 정확한 자료관리, 고객 대응 능력 향상, 의사결정의 신속성)를 높이고자 하는 목표를 가지고 다양한 정보화사업을 시행하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 목적으로 2001년부터 산업자원부가 지원한 3만개 중소기업의 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) 시스템의 도입에 따른 업무성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 1022개의 설문응답을 회수하였다. 설문의 업무성과 응답이 5점 서열척도임을 고려하여 이에 적합한 ordered probit 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 모든 종속변수들과 유의한 관련성을 가지는 독립 변수는 사용용이성, 시스템 안정성, 정보의 정확성, 그리고 정보의 다양성으로 나타났다.

  • The objective of this study is to verify effects of employees' cognition of their job characteristics in production department of manufacturing companies on production performance and also to verify the moderating effect of the characteristics of managerial accounting information in the relationship between job characteristics and productivity. To achieve this purpose, this study divides the factors of job characteristics into task diversity, task significance, autonomy, and task identity and production performance into flexibility, time, and quality. The results of this study are as follows. First, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to employees' cognition of their job characteristics. Second, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to the characteristics of managerial accounting information.

  • This study is to empirically analyze the effects on job performance of Accounting Information Systems, Analysis methods were used to Cronbach's Alpha analysis, Factor analysis, analysis of variance(ANOVA) and regression in odor by the contingency grouping method. The results of this study are as follows : First, The regression analysis had effects on AIS utility and job performance. Second, The Analysis of variance(ANOVA) had non-effects on systems operating degree and systems satisfaction. Third, The input variables of information accuracy and systems satisfaction had additional effect about IT capability.

  • 본 연구에서는 증권사 정보시스템의 아웃소싱 성과에 영향을 미치는 기업특성적 변인에 대해 파악하고자, 아웃소싱 수혜기업인 증권사의 조직 및 부문적 특성이 아웃소싱 정도의 매개효과를 통해 아웃소싱 성과(업무효용성, 업무능률성, 업무생산성, 예산감소율)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 검증하였다. 증권사의 조직적 특성(경쟁전략, 재무능력)이 아웃소싱 정도를 매개로 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 가설 1과 증권사의 부문적 특성(업무특수성, IT 자원, IT 역량)이 아웃소싱 정도를 매개로 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 가설 2를 실증분석한 결과, 경쟁전략, 재무능력, 업무특수성, IT 자원, IT 역량의 요인들이 아웃소싱 정도를 통해 업무효용성과 예산감소율에 영향을 주는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 재무능력, IT 역량 등이 업무효용성, 예산감소율과 같은 정보시스템 아웃소싱의 성과에 상대적으로 많은 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 정보시스템 아웃소싱 정도의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문은 고용서비스 기관의 서비스 품질과 사용기업의 관리능력이 파견직 근로자의 조직만족과 사용 기업의 업무성과 개선에 대해 미치는 영향을 실증분석 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 논문은 서울, 경기지역 근로자 파견기업. 사용기업, 파견직 근로자를 설문조사를 실시하여, 근로자 파견기업 81부, 사용기업 83부, 파견직 근로자 79부 중 응답에 문제없는 파견직 근로자 79를 분석 사용하였다. 수집된 설문자료는 빈도 분석, 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 위계적 회귀분석 등에 의해 분석되었다. 본 논문의 독립변수는 파견기업의 서비스 품질이며, 통제변수는 사용기업에 대한 만족도, 파견기업에 대한 만족도, 성별, 연령, 학력, 직위, 근무경력으로 구분하였다, 또한 중속변수는 업무성과의 개선, 직무만족이다. 분석결과는 첫째, 파견직에 대한 인식이 긍정적일수록 업무성과가 개선된다. 둘째 파견회사의 전문성이 클수록, 서비스능력이 좋을수록 업무성과가 개선된다. 사용기업의 적극성(관리능력)이 클수록 업무성과가 개선되는 것으로 나타났다.
