스마트 사회의 보안위협과 정보보호 정책추진에 관한 제언

  • 우리는 지금 스마트 사회에 살아가고 있다. 언제 어디서든 스마트 디바이스를 통해 기존에 PC에서 하던 작업들을 손쉽게 하고 있다. 한편 스마트폰의 확산으로 이용자 수가 급증하고 있는 소셜네트워크 서비스(SNS)는 이용자들이 자신의 일상적인 이야기를 사이버공간에 게시함으로 인해 개인의 사생활 정보들이 노출되고, 그러한 정보들이 범죄에 악용되는 사례들이 눈에 띄게 증가하고 있다. 또한 SNS를 이용한 악성코드의 유포 및 빠른 전파 등도 새로운 보안위협으로 나타나고 있다. 그 밖에 스마트 기기를 대상으로 한 해킹 및 악성코드 감염 등 위협이 증가하고 있는 형편이다. 본고에서는 스마트 사회의 주요 보안위협을 살펴보고 미국, 유럽, 일본, 호주 등 선진국의 관련 정책 동향과 국내 정책과 실태를 분석하여 새로운 정보보호 정책 수립 방향을 제언하고자 한다. 스마트 사회 위험 요소로 가장 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 스마트폰과 스마트폰을 통해 이용되고 있는 소셜네트워크 서비스, 클라우드 서비스의 보안위협을 제기하고 최근 글로벌 이슈로 떠오르고 있는 빅 데이터 환경의 보안위협을 분석하였다. 스마트 사회의 위협을 대비하고 있는 주요국 정책을 살펴보면, 미국의 경우 사회적 합의를 바탕으로한 감시와 통제를 강화하는 정책을 추진 중에 있으며 유럽의 5개국 EU5(영국, 독일, 프랑스, 스페인, 이탈리아)는 스마트폰 위협을 중심으로 공동 대응 방안을 마련하고 있다. 일본은 스마트 워크중심의 보안대책을 강구하고 있으며 호주는 스마트 사회 보안위협에 대한 국민의 인식제고에 주력하고 있다. 국내의 경우도 스마트 사회의 보안위협에 선제적 대응을 위하여 "스마트 모바일 시큐리티 종합계획"을 수립하여 추진중에 있다. 하지만 보안 실태를 보면 스마트 사회 보안위협에 대한 이용자들의 우려는 높은 반면 기업의 보안 대책 마련에 대한 투자는 여전히 미흡한 상황이다. 향후 우리 사회가 디바이스간 융합을 넘어 모든 사물이 연결되는 초(超)연결(Hyper-Connectivity) 시대로 진화되어 가면 편리성이 증대되는 만큼 더 많은 위협에 우리의 일상이 노출되는 문제가 발생하게 될 것이다. 안전한 미래 사회로 진입하기 위해서는 보다 체계적이고 종합적인 정보보호 정책마련이 필요하다. 본고에서는 이를 위한 정책수립의 방향을 제언했다.

  • The international society under the internet technology have been declining boundaries of the global economy. After this step, a social revolution will be happen from the ubiquitous technology which fives objects intelligence to serve people. And then it is expected that every part of a city competitive power is defined by both in qualify and in quantify of the ubiquitous information unit in the future. On this score, now each nation is trying to set relative services and broadband networks to lead the ubiquitous industry. Therefore this paper analyzed about the progress and prospect of a local U-city plan in our nation Especially we propose a new city development model which use U-city and self-communication network to Improve a city competitive power.

Time Switching-based Analog Network Coding for Maximizing the Minimum Required Secrecy Capacity in Energy Harvesting Networks (에너지 하베스팅 네트워크에서 최소 요구 보안 용량을 최대화하기 위한 시간 전환 기반의 아날로그 네트워크 코딩)

  • Recently, the energy shortage of sensors and the leakage of private information are considered as serious problems as the number of sensors is increasing due to the technological advance in Internet-of-Things. RF energy harvesting, in which sensors collect energy from external RF signals, and physical layer security become increasingly important to solve these problems. In this paper, we propose a time switching-based network analog coding for improving information security in wireless networks where the relay can harvest energy from source signals. We formulate 2-hop relay networks where an eavesdropper tries to overhear source signals, and find an optimal time switching ratio for maximizing the minimum required secrecy capacity using mathematical analysis. Through simulations under various environments, it is shown that the proposed scheme improves the minimum required secrecy capacity significantly, compared to the conventional scheme.

  • To launch the product recently attached to IoT consumer electronics, smart phones and healthcare products around the large companies is a trend that is growing interest in the IoT. However, the country's small business environment is what the environmental improvement process that is easily accessible to the small business environment because the IoT technologies are difficult to apply the IoT technologies than any other country environment than desperate situation. In this paper, we propose a service operating model to improve production efficiency when the fusion manufacturing process is currently operating in the country SMEs and IoT technology. Proposed model using the manufacturing product information and sensor / dabayiseu information in the entire manufacturing process has as its object to utilize the IoT technology. Performance evaluation, the proposed model is more efficient than the previous model and 23.1% of the manufacturing process. In addition, it is increasing the manufacturing process was reduced by 17.3%, the average processing time as compared to the previous model. Finally, the personnel cost to be used in the manufacturing process was found to be an average decrease of 19.8% than previous model.

  • As crime has actually increased in recent years, various mobile applications related to safety and emergency measure have received much attention. Therefore, IoT (Internet of Things) technologies, which connect various physical objects with Internet communication, have been also paid attention and then diverse safety services based on IoT technologies have been on the increase. However, existing mobile safety applications are simply based on location based service (LBS). Also, as they are independently operated without the help of another safety systems, they cannot efficiently cope with various safety situations. So, this paper proposes the efficient smart safety service architecture with both the risky situation detection using user location as well as various sensing information and the risk congruence measure using the streetlight infrastructure. Additionally, UDID (unique device identifier) is utilized for the secure communication with the control center.

  • In this paper, we introduce the PB/MC-CDMA (Partial Block/Multi-Carrier-Code Division Multiple Access) system to mitigate inter-cell interference (ICI) and enhance user capacity in the small cell environment. In 5G mobile communications, the number of devices connected to the network is expected to increase exponentially with the expansion of the IoT (Internet of Things) services. In addition, each device is expected to be required by the various data rates by their content types. In LTE/LTE-A, there are some limitations that large scale connectivity and supporting various data rates. Therefore, we introduce a PB/MC-CDMA physical layer system which is suitable for the small cell environment, and evaluate the performance in the multi cell environment which is affected by ICI. Through computer simulation results, we demonstrate the effectiveness of PB/MC-CDMA for the small cell environment.

  • In this paper, we suggest the design of OP-AMP using MOSFET in the operation of sub-threshold condition as a basic unit of an IoT. The sub-threshold operation of MOSFET is useful for an ultra low power consumption of sensor network system in the IoT, because it cause the supply voltage to be reduced. From the simulation result using 0.35 um CMOS process, the supply voltage, VDD can be reduced with 0.6 V, open-loop gain of 43 dB and the power consumption was evaluated with about $1.3{\mu}W$ and the active size for an integration was measured with $64{\mu}m{\times}105{\mu}m$. It is expected that the proposed circuit is applied to the low power sensor network for IoT.

  • In this paper, we suggest operational trans-conductance amplifier(OTA) for current-mode FIR filter that can be used in a digital circuit system requiring high operating frequency and low power consumption. The current-mode signal processing is one of the very innovative design method for a low power consumption system with high operating frequency because it shows a constant power regardless of frequency. From the simulation result using 0.35um CMOS process, when Vdd is 2V, it is confirmed that the proposed circuit showed the dynamic range of the about 1V, about 50% of supply voltage and output current swing of about 0~200uA. Also, the power consumption was evaluated with about 21uW and the active size for an integration was measured with $71um{\times}166um$.

A Study on Ontology for Semantic-Based Service Exploiting the Context Information in IoT Environment (IoT 환경에서 상황정보에 따른 시맨틱 기반 서비스 제공을 위한 온톨로지에 관한 연구)

  • The many researches on context-aware service based on the combination of semantic technology and IoT environment are being actively done. However, the previous study exploiting ontology has limitations not to accommodate the service requirement changes due to ontology prebuilt by specific service scenario. Although the concept of cross vertical ontology has emerged in order to overcome the limitation, it has other limitations that need additional components composing service environment for expressing context information and can't represent state information of environment elements. To cope with these limitations, we propose SISO (Semantic-based IoT Service Ontology) that can represent the states of environmental element without the need for additional context-information element. To verify SISO's characteristics, we select the service scenario and present applied results. The qualitative analysis comparing with the previous study is also presented by the applied results of service scenario.
