  • The standard production unit system is the most basic element in our country construction. However, this standard production unit system shows a large difference in the actual amount of labor input for works at the Apartment housing construction, Therefore, it may be a reasonable alternative to estimate the cost of construction by historical cost data, works will be calculated the cost of labor must determine the exact amount and It is necessary to determine the exact amount of labor input for the construction progress management. This study examines the results of comparing the standard production unit system and the actual amount of labor counting in apartment housing construction was completed in the metropolitan area since 2000, the following results were obtained. the actual amount of labor input are looked for 1.184person/1000 of masonary, $0.084persons/m^2$ of plaster, $0.039persons/m^2$ of Waterproofing, $0.059persons/m^2$ of tile at the Apartment housing construction. in the actual amount of labor counting Compared with standard production unit system, masonry ratio of 59.8%, plaster ratio of 41.3%, waterproofing ratio of 31.5%, tile ratio of 34.3% and The labor rate in the works was the lowest in the plaster. was relatively high in the masonary. Therefore, the amount of labor country apartment housing construction is preferably calculated on historical cost data. But it seems that the amount of labor necessary complement ongoing close enough to the actual standard production unit system a major variable in construction management.

  • This study aims to make improvements to the standard estimation process used to estimate reasonable costs for construction work, and to suggest a work crew based estimation using a new cost estimation model. In addition, work crew shift combination and construction process were systematically organized in order to improve the estimation technique and the construction capability of the cement liquid waterproofing work for apartment buildings. In addition, in terms of manpower and productivity, analyses were performed on the cement liquid waterproofing work for apartment buildings with net areas between $84-85m^2$ and $125-184m^2$, and the results were then compared with those calculated using the conventional work-crew based estimation method. Through this study, when the results of this study and those calculated by the conventional method were compared, for apartments with the net area of $84-85m^2$, the differences between specialists were shown to be 1.91 times to 2.13 times on average, while they were 8.82 times to 9.52 times between normal workers on average. For apartments with the net area of $125-184m^2$, the differences betweenspecialists were shownto be 1.89 times to 2.07 times on average, and 8.57 times to 9.38 times on average between normal workers.

  • Measuring and evaluating the workload occurred to construction worker have not been arrived at a certain maturity because it is not easy to standardize construction operations and these operations are subject to dynamic changes. This paper presents a method that measures quantitatively the workload demanding to the workers engaged in waterproof operation and tests for statistical significant differences among the unit tasks associated with the operation. Three hypotheses involved in the unit tasks (e.g., a primer painting and a polyurethane coating) are established as follows: [Hypothesis 1] Given a same amount of work, the average heart rate occurred to the worker engaged in the urethane coating task is higher than that in the primer painting task. [Hypothesis 2] Given a same amount of work, the average break time required to the worker engaged in the polyurethane coating task is longer than that in the primer painting task. [Hypothesis 3] When measured immediately after completing the two tasks, the body parts that the workers feel uncomfortable were arm (t = 2.449) with statistically significant difference; neck (t = 0.632), shoulder (t = 0.000), waist (t = 1.987) and wrist (t = 0.655) with statistically no significant difference.

  • Purpose: This study was designed to provide necessary institutional improvements for job security for foreign workers in the domestic construction sector. Method: I analyzed the National Statistical Office and related reports to investigate the status of foreign workers. Based on this, the government came up with measures to improve the system. Results: Based on the current comparative advantage index (RCA) analysis, the technology standard of foreign workers compared to Korean workers was evaluated, and the results were analyzed in order of moldwork, rebar, concrete work, stone work, and waterproof work. Conclusion: A foreign worker's work system was introduced to solve the problem of local Lunar New Year's Day field manpower. To ensure stable implementation of the system, there is a need to improve the operation of the employment permit system at construction sites and limit the size of the construction industry that introduces the employment permit system.

  • In this study, a survey was conducted on the required measurement and waterproofing performance for residential building underground structure leakage prevention system. According to the results of the survey, it has been determined that leakage problem is considered to be quite severe, and many respondents have agreed. The legal guidelines and regulation systems do not reflect properly on the environmental requirements or conditions, resulting in continued leakage problem. In regards to this, a standardized waterproofing technique that can be used in underground areas of residential structures is required as an obligation and the development of high performance waterproofing method that allows for wet concrete surface adhesion and a guideline, design and maintenance method that allows the control of overall situational control of leakage is required.
