  • This study identifies interest and reasons for small- and medium-sized technological firms to increase their uses of Technopark for product innovation and development. To determine whether interest exists, a research model was built, based upon the innovative process that small and medium sized enterprises'experience when developing capabilities. The model was characterized by its entrepreneurial orientation, organizational culture and support of the Technopark. Small and medium-sized technological firms operating in Technopark were surveyed in the Fall of 2019. Responses were collected and analyzed using structural equation modeling. Among the findings: supporting greater uses of Technopark can impact a firm's performance positively by mediating new product development capabilities. Firms with relatively limited resources and capabilities are most likely to benefit from using regional innovation hubs such as Technopark to improve their innovative capabilities and performance. Government and Technopark need to develop and implement demand-based support programs, especially ones to focus on improving the innovation capabilities of technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises.

  • Anti-oppressive practice (AOP) is a form of social work practice that has developed in the UK. In South Korea, Anti-oppressive social work has not been widely studied / explored unlike in other countries in the world. Its main principles, social justice and human rights, have become commonplace. AOP includes transformational practice because its orientation emphasizes social change through celebrating diverse identities and rejecting hierarchies of oppression and prestige. Recently, a growing body of literature on social work with foreign workers has resulted in an increased understanding of its population and its needs. It needs a theoretical and practical framework for foreign workers necessary to inform effective models of service delivery, reflecting cultural competence, and changing oppressive social structure. In this paper, we will introduce the main principles of AOP, analyse written texts reflected by foreign workers and social work practitioners' opinion, and suggest the implications on possibilities and constraints of applicability to foreign workers in South Korea.

Using the data collected from 172 employees of start-up firms, this study analyzes the causal and mediating relationships among five variables, individual creativity, external networks, internal innovation culture, technology commercialization, and firm performance. This study reports four important findings. First, individual creativity positively influences internal innovation culture. Second, external networks positively influence internal innovation culture and technology commercialization. Thirds, internal innovation culture positively affects firm performance. Fourth, internal innovation culture and technology commercialization influence firm performance. While previous literature focuses only on CEO's characteristics, this study provides evidence that employee's creativity and external networks do matter as well. This is the main contribution of this study. The result of this study implies that it is important for start-up firms to cultivate internal innovation culture to foster employees' creativity and external network.

  • In our knowledge-based society, a corporation's main growth engine consists of its unique core competences and how these are organized rather than materialized competitive advantage. Intangible factors such as creative organizational culture, learning capability, brands, marketing ability and technology are notable examples of such core competencies. To ensure constant development of a corporation, it is important to understand the environment in which these factors operate. Drawing on literature research, this paper looks at organizational culture and change, and employees' attitudes and resistance factors to such change. To strengthen the explanation of this study the Korea Asset Management Corporation was used as a case study. From the point of view of information science, knowledge has been viewed as that which is found in books and databases. Such "knowledge" is storable, passive and unchangeable. However, more recently it is seen by many researchers that this approach is limited in that it ignores the knowledge that "sits" in human "bodyminds" and organizations. Such knowledge forms the backbone of organizational culture and should be considered in any meaningful study of information.

The results of this study confirm that the corporate entrepreneurship positively affects R&D capacity and that R&D capacity has a positive effect on technology commercialization capacity. And we confirmed the significant moderating effect of technology orientation. However, there is no mediating effect of R&D capability on the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and technology commercialization. These findings can provide guidelines for organizational management in the cultural aspect by identifying the effects of in-house entrepreneurship and technology orientation on cultivating the innovation capacity of management office at the organizational level.

The results of the paired t-test and the analysis of the need for change through the analysis of Borich coefficient analysis were as follows: Understanding of university education (4th rank), analysis design (5th rank), instruction execution(2nd rank), empathy learning culture (1st rank), and global sharing (3rd rank). The competence of university teachers is not only the ability to practice teaching, but also the ability to understand university education and to empathize and share with the members of the university community.
