The purpose of this paper is to analyze the efficiency change and determinants of the korean non-life insurance companies. we use DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) model to measure company efficiency change and use GLS, Tobit model, FIixed effect model, Random effect model, GMM to measure efficiency determinants. we utilize ten non-life insurance companies in korea and the panel data for five from 2001 to 2005. The empirical results show the following findings. First, technical efficiency shows that approximately 15.5% of inefficiency exists on the non-life insurance companies and it reveals that the cause for technical inefficiency is due to scale inefficiency. Second, Dea Window results show that the stable dissimilarity by standard deviation, LDP of CCR. Third, the results of efficiency determinants show that increase efficiency is depend on the premium income and real estates.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the change in the productivity of Korean life insurance industry by Generalized Malmquist productivity indices. Generalized Malmquist indices will be decomposed into three components such as pure efficiency change, scale efficiency change, and technical change. The principal findings indicate an overall increase in productivity driven more by technical progress than pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency.

지구 온난화 현상 및 이상기후로 지구환경 변화는 물환경 변화에 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 특히, 지표수에 의존도가 높은 국내의 수자원 공급시스템은 지구환경 변화에 의한 강우 분포의 시간적, 공간적 불균질성에 대한 취약성이 높으며, 이에 기후변화에 따른 상대적 변동성이 적은 지하수자원의 활용 가능성이 높아지고 있다. 지하수 인공함양 기술은 강우, 지하수 및 하수 처리수 등의 잉여 수자원을 관정, 수로, 인공함양 분지 및 습지, 지하댐 등의 인공시설물을 활용하여 지하 대수층에 주입시킨 후 양질의 수자원을 확보하는 기술이다. 이번 연구에서는 수치해석을 활용하여 함양지역의 유역형상 및 지층경사, 대수층 두께, 체류시간, 수리상수 등 수리지질 인자를 고려한 인공함양 방식별 인공함양 효율성을 평가하고자 한다. 인공함양 방식은 수직관정 및 수로(Ditch)를 적용하였다.

This study is on the actual analysis of R&D investment effect through DEA in terms of efficiency resulted from forestry sector climate change response R&D project. Namely, it is clarifying the mechanism of the scientific, technological, social performance result and output, depending on research development cost, employment size as same input. Also, it is in-depth analysis on which performance operates more efficiently in any detailed business. With the study result, we seek political implications to enhance investment effect and core element to consider R&D business project in the future.

최근 유비쿼터스와 관련하여 핵심 요소 기술로 활용되고 있는 ad-hoc네트워크와 소형 디바이스에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이중 소형 디바이스와 관련해 대표적인 기술이 RFID기술이다. RFID 기술의 특징은 주파수 통신을 이용하여 빠른 인식과 데이터 저장이 가능해 기존의 바코드 기술을 대체할수 있는 새로운 형태의 인증 기술이다. 그러나 RFID의 특성상 소형화된 하드웨어와 주파수 통신을 이용할 경우 보안상 많은 취약성이 존재할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존의 RFID 기술을 분석한 뒤 보안적 취약성을 보완할 수 있는 등차수열을 이용한 안전하고 효율적인 RFID 인증 기술을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 방식의 경우 등차수열을 이용함으로서 기존의 방식보다 연산량에 따른 효율성을 유지하면서 기존의 방식의 보안 취약성 보완할 수 있는 방식을 제안하고자 한다.

음식물류 자원화 사업은 버려진 음식물 폐기물을 재가공하여 이를 자원으로 활용하는 사업으로 현재 정부와 민간, 그리고 지자체에서 적극적으로 추진하고 있는 사업이다. 그러나 음식물류 자원화 시설의 운영성과와 효율성은 제각각이며, 이에 대한 정확한 분석이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 음식물 자원화 사업의 효율적이고 효과적인 수행에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 음식물 자원화 사업에 대하여 이론적으로 정리하고, 음식물 자원화 사업의 현황을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통하여 향후 음식물 자원화 사업의 추진에 필요한 음식물 자원화 시설의 효율성 평가를 위한 방법론을 제시하고자 한다.

While the cost of technology development is increased, the life cycle of products and services that have been developed has become progressively shorter. Open innovation have been increasing by company as a strategy to respond to the rapidly changed market. Technology transfer from universities is one of the typical means of technological innovation. Although a university has invested significant resources in R&D, the results has been neglected. Therefore, at the moment, research is needed about the outcomes and efficiency of technology transfer at universities. In the previous research, since most of studies focus on the analysis of factors that influence the outcome of technology transfer, in this study, targeting domestic universities, the efficiency of technology transfer at the university was analyzed. In addition, differences in the efficiency of different types of university is verified. Consequently, universities specializing in technology and industry has high-efficiency than the others. There is no significant difference between the groups of universities whether or not to participate in Technology Licensing Office(TLO). More efforts are required for successful results of TLO in Korea. This study is expected to be able to provide reasonable indicators on technology transfer for further research.

The purpose of this paper is to measure and analyse the relative efficiency of 17 public libraries in Daejeon metropolitan city using Data Envelopment Analysis. In this paper, total staffs, total area, total holdings are used as library inputs and total circulations, total user visits are used as library outputs. The estimated results show that libraries operate at 64.15% efficiency and only 4 libraries are relatively efficient. Inefficiency of the public libraries was due to small use of outputs compared to inputs.

이미 주지하고 있는 모든 산업분야에서 자동제어를 채택하고 있는 근본 이유는 품질향상, 제품의 균일성향상, Energy 절약(효율향상), 원료절약, 설비이용향상, 인간의 단조로운 천업감소, (운전원의 효율성 증대) 때문이라고 요약 할 수 있다. 1910년경 Draft 및 급수제어 분야에서 부터 경제성 기술성 및 이용 요청에 따라 Boiler Control이 사용되어 왔으며 他 기술은 놀라울 정도로 발달한 반면, 이 분야는 변화가 거의 서서히 일어났다. 과거 50년 전부터 Boiler 자동제어기술은 관련 분야의 기술적 개발과 경제적 이유로 아래와 같이 여섯 단계의 발전과정을 거쳐 이제부터는 Digital 특히 Distributed Digital (기능 분산 형 System) 개발 및 산업적용에의 움직임이 활발할 것이다. 여기서 화력발전 Boiler 자동화의 어제와 오늘 그리고 내일에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.
