This article analyzes biographies of women participants in Miryang struggle against 765㎸ transmission tower and finds that the experience of state violence under the ideological conflicts works the biographical context of participation in environment movement. The cases analyzed in this article disclose the family member's experience of state violence and their trauma through the participation in social movement. And they legitimize their family member's life, heal their trauma, and live a new life by the social movement participation. But the power of healing trauma comes from solidarity and support in social movement. Findings of this article imply that experiences of state violence have influence on the formation and development of various Korean social movements and we need more solidarity and democracy for healing the trauma occurred by state violence and concealed in individual memory. Findings of this article also suggest the importance of biography documents. Biography documents can contribute to widen and to deepen understandings on the social interaction and social history, because they are the document about people's experience who are excluded from the official history and character culture. Moreover biography documents can compensate the official documents, because they can offer the context to the social actions in the official documents. More accumulations and analyses on biographies can serve to widen and to deepen understanding and explanation of Korean society having multilayered exclusion in the process of the compressed modernization and the history of national division.

Oral history is the work to make the record of the verbal content recreated by the memories of the survivors. Oral history recording is accomplished through the collaboration of the interviewee, the interviewer, the cameraman, the recorder, the transcriber and etc. Therefore, it is important for the context at the time of the production to be expressed. So planning for the collection of oral records, the collection of oral records, and their preservation and maintenance should be managed systematically. This study, being started from this sense of problem, designed conceptual model of metadata to well reflect the contextual characteristics of the oral records of the women life of among the oral records and extracted the elements through this. The whole process of records management including from planning, production, preservation, management, and leading to use, related to the oral records of the women life, was classified into a hierarchy. It also proposed the system which can express the characteristics of the 'gender' through authority records and subject thesaurus.

구술채록은 특정 주제의 연구사 기록화 작업에 있어 후대에 생생한 역사체험을 전승할 수 있는 최적의 연구사업이다. 특히 국내 천문우주과학 분야의 원로들이 대부분 연로하다는 점에서 한국천문학 발전사에 대한 구술채록은 시급성이 더욱 요구되고 있다. 이에 한국천문연구원 고천문연구센터는 그간 기관에서 자체적으로 수행해 온 사료분류체계 수립작업과 단발적인 구술채록 경험을 기반으로 본격적인 구술채록 연구사업을 수행할 계획이다. 이 연구는 한국천문학 발전사 구술채록 사업의 절차적 방법에 대한 기획론이다. 크게 (1)구술채록 로드맵 수립, (2) 구술기록 생산 프로세스, (3) 산출물 관리 및 활용으로 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 구술채록 로드맵 수립에 있어서는 현대 한국천문학 발전의 태동기 1950년대 중반을 기점으로 역사연구 및 주제분류를 중심으로 천문학 구술기록 특성화를 기한다. 이를 기반으로 구술대상자를 선정하고 큰 맥락의 역사와 개인 생애사를 교차하는 분석 틀을 중심으로 인터뷰 질문지를 추출한다. 이 과정에서 구술대상자의 소장 사료를 도출하여 미리 잠재적 사료 수집을 도모하도록 한다. 둘째, 본격적 구술기록 생산 프로세스에서는 전 단계에서 이행한 수집정보를 바탕으로 구술 산출물을 제작한다. 면담일지, 상세녹취록, 요약본, 이용동의서 등 기타 필요한 구술 제반 서식을 바탕으로 구술 동영상을 산출하고 라벨링한다. 이 산출물에 대한 사실관계 검증 후 최종 산출물 완성 및 기타 행정 처리로 제작은 종료된다. 마지막으로 산출물 관리 및 활용에 있어서는 사료 수집 전략의 기반 자료와 다양한 지식정보콘텐츠의 활용체계를 수립한다. 더 나아가 향후 이 연구사업은 구술DB화와 서비스 체계화를 위하여 구술아카이브 시스템을 설계하는 데 성과물을 활용한다. 이 연구기획론은 한국천문학이라는 특정 주제에 대한 것이므로 큰 틀에서의 방법은 기록학적 전개방식을 차용하지만, 역사연구와 기록의 특성화에 있어서는 한국천문학 연구사에 대한 깊은 이해가 동반되어야 한다. 따라서 광범위한 한국천문학 네트워크에 해당하는 다양한 학회, 교육기관, 연구기관 및 각종 사단법인 등의 역사와도 긴밀히 연결되어야 성과물은 비로소 가치 있고 풍부할 것이다. 이 연구를 시발점으로 향후 한국천문학 발전사 구술채록 사업에 대한 다양한 관학연구의 인식 공감대가 마련되기를 기대한다.

This autobiographical narrative interview study aims at exploring how A, one Korean 82-year-old female farmer strived vigorously to learn by herself and to teach her children (4 boys and 3 girls) despite the fact that she was not afford to pay tuitions on time. From 40 times of interview-data three major findings emerged: (1) A learned how to read Korean Japanese and Chinese characters and how to calculate at a free-of-charge teaching center although her father didn't approve of her learning; (2) A tried very hard to earn money inside and outside home to support her children's education, organizing many mutual fraternity meetings to seek mutual financial support, selling mostly farm products as well as farming almost all day and everyday; (3) Although it was so hard to educate three daughters, A was proud of the fact that she was able to put her second daughter to a high school with a promise to pay her tuition later. Some implications of the findings are added.

Oral history research in Korea began with the effort to find out the truth behind the hidden historical issues that occurred during the mid-1980s. Since then, attempts to record the major issues through contemporary Korean history orally has increased. From the late 2000s, the focus shifted to local and smaller village units. In Busan, from 2009 to 2016, 33 oral history projects from 10 government agencies were conducted. This research was carried out to investigate what kind of oral records has been produced in Busan from the said period and how they are managed. With these findings, possible solutions to preserve and utilize the oral records as the locality archives are suggested.

This qualitative study explored a middle-aged lesbian's life and her identities by the oral life history approach in feminist epistemology, where the participant is not the object but the subject of knowledge. The participant kept her own perspective that her homosexuality was not intrinsic but constructed. In her life's history, she was a "docile body" accepting socially constructed historical meaning of homosexuality, as well as a "resistant body" protesting against social discrimination and oppression for homosexual population. She overcame an embedded negative recognition of her scaled injured body and her sexuality as "deficient". Finally, she showed an amazing resilience and an indomitable spirit for reconstructing the meaning of her body as "blessed." Beyond the deficient body, as an active agent not the pathologic sexual minority, she could cultivate compassion and empathy for others. From the results, it is important how to place gender and sexuality in the context of social work theory and practice. Sexuality, not sexual orientation, is 'our' collective agenda to address the social problems which were associated with social hierarchy, inequality, and injustice.

The research intends to analyse the life experiences of a Korean woman in Germany from the insider's view. Biographical data of A are analysed using Rosenthal's narrative-biographical interviews methode. Findings show that the life of A is in the process of 'becoming-work migrant woman', who jolts and 'deterritorializes' standard criteria of 'majority', which her colonize. Furthermore is analysed, that the 'becoming-work migrant women' as the construction of assemblage of 'becoming-worker', 'becoming-migrant', 'becoming-woman' is the fluid process of 'becoming-minority', which constructs constantly another assemblage of them, and is also the 'politics of difference' and the 'politics of becoming'. Based on the research results, some implications for social welfare practice are suggested.

An automatic term-network construction system is proposed in this paper. This system uses the statistical values of the terms appeared in a document corpus. The 186 oral history documents collected from the Saemangeum area of Chollapuk-do, Korea, are used for the research. The term relationships presented in the term-network are decided by the cosine similarities of the term vectors. The number of the terms extracted from the documents is about 1700. The system is able to show the term relationships from the term-network as quickly as like a real-time system. The way of this term-network construction is expected as one of the methods to construct the ontology system and to support the semantic retrieval system in the near future.
