들잔디에 오버씨딩 시 한지형 잔디의 피복율과 초종전이

Effects of Cool-Season Grass Overseeding on Coverage and Spring Transition in Zoysiagrass

초록

본 연구는 들잔디에 켄터키 블루그래스, 톨 페스큐 및 퍼레니얼 라이그래스를 단파 및 혼파로 오버씨딩 후 잔디피복율 및 초종전이 특성과 함께 적합한 초종 및 파종량을 구명함으로 실무에 활용할 수 있는 기초자료를 얻기 위해 수행하였다. 한지형 잔디 피복율 및 난지형 잔디의 초종전이는 처리구에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 피복율은 초기부터 퍼레니얼 라이그래스와 톨 페스큐 초종이 우수하였고, 켄터키 블루그래스가 저조하였다. 혼합구는 초종 구성상 퍼레니얼 라이그래스와 톨 페스큐가 많고 켄터키 블루그래스가 없는 파종량 150 g인 Mixture IV가 가장 양호하였다. 초종 전이는 3월 하순부터 지속적으로 진행되어 최대 80%까지 들잔디 점유율이 증가하였지만, 10월 초순 이후 점유율은 감소하였다. 단일 초종구에서 들잔디 점유율이 가장 높게 나타난 처리구는 켄터키 블루그래스이었고, 가장 낮게 나타난 처리구는 톨 페스큐이었으며, 혼합구의 경향은 일정하지 않았다. 본 실험을 통해 동절기 잔디피복에 적합한 처리구는 퍼레니얼 라이그래스 100 g, 혼합구인 경우 톨 페스큐 및 퍼레니얼 라이그래스가 1/2씩 혼합해서 150 g을 파종할 경우 가장 적합하였다. 하지만 들잔디로 초종전이는 단일 초종구인 켄터키 블루그래스 50 g이 가장 우수하였다.
