마음수련명상이 교사의 불안, 자아존중감 및 자아실현에 미치는 효과

The Effects of Maum Meditation on Anxiety, Self-esteem and Self-actualization for Teachers

초록

본 연구는 마음수련명상이 교사의 불안, 자아존중감 및 자아실현에 미치는 효과를 규명하기 위한 단일군 전 후 원시실험연구이다. 2009년 7월 25일부터 8월 1일, 8월 1일부터 8월 8일 및 2010년 1월 2일에서 1월 9일에 7박 8일간의 일정으로 마음수련교육원에서 진행한 교원자율연수에 참여한 108명의 전국의 초 중 고 교사를 대상으로 하였다. 마음수련명상 1단계 프로그램을 실시하였으며, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 마음수련명상 전과 후에 자료수집하였고, SPSS WIN 12.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 교사의 불안은 마음수련명상 전과 후에 유의한 차이가 있음이 확인되었다(p=.000). 교사의 자아존중감은 마음수련명상 전과 후에 유의한 차이가 있음이 확인되었다(p=.001). 교사의 자아실현은 마음수련명상전과 후에 유의한 차이가 있음이 확인되었다(p=.002). 마음수련명상은 교사의 불안을 유의하게 감소시키고, 자아존중감과 자아실현 정도를 유의하게 향상시키는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 마음수련명상 은 교사들의 불안, 자아존중감 및 자아실현 관리를 위한 중재 프로그램으로 효과가 있을 것으로 예상할 수 있다.
