웹 2.0 환경에서 사회적 영향이 사용자의 인지적 평가와 몰입, 사용수준에 미치는 영향

초록

본 연구는 기술수용모형과 몰입 이론에 근거해서 웹 2.0 환경에서 사회적 영향요소가 개인의 인지와 몰입, 그리고 실제 사용성에 미치는 상호영향관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 혁신적인 정보기술을 수용함에 있어 사용자는 정보 기술을 특별한 추가 노력 없이 사용방법을 습득하여 자신의 업무나 목적에 유용하게 활용할 수 있을지 그 용이성과 유용성을 인지적으로 평가하게 된다. 또한 웹 2.0의 대표적 형태 가운데 하나인 UCC(user-created-contents)와 같은 정보기술에 있어서는 업무의 유용성과 더불어 사용자가 얼마만큼 즐겁게 웹 사이트를 활용할 수 있는지 그 몰입(flow) 역시 사용자의 향후 활용 수준에 영향을 주게 된다. 따라서 UCC 영역에서 사용자의 활용수준에 영향을 주는 요소로 용이성, 유용성과 같은 인지적 평가 요소와 몰입의 요소를 동시에 고려하고자 하였다. 한편, 본 연구는 일반 사용자에 의해 생산되는 컨텐츠가 주류를 이루는 롱테일 현상으로 일컬어지는 웹 2.0 환경에서는 이러한 사용자의 인지와 몰입이 사회적 영향에 민감할 수 있는 바, 사회적 영향을 요소 역시 연구모형에 포함시켜 연구모형을 분석하였다. 분석결과 사회적 영향은 인지된 유용성과 용이성 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 몰입에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것이 밝혀졌다. 또한 개인의 인지적 평가와 몰입이 UCC 사용성에 미치는 영향에 있어서도 유의성과 용이성, 몰입이 모두 긍정적으로 사용자의 사용수준을 높이고 있음이 밝혀졌다.
