Abstract
We have designed transflective liquid crystal display(LCD) associated with in-plane switching of a LC director driven by fringe-field, unlike other LCD mode. Reflective area consists of a λ/2 compensation film and a LC cell with retardation value(dΔn) of λ/4 with their optic axes making an angle of 15
