Abstract
The polyacenic semiconductor material (PAS) electrode prepared by the pyrolytic treatment of phenol-formaldehyde resin is one of useful electrodes. As an anode material of lithium rechargeable batteries, amorphous carbon materials have been studied extensively because of their high electrochemcal performance and cyclicability. Carbon materials do not lead to the formation of lithium dendrite which is one of the most serious problems in applying Li-based materials to an electrode of batteries.
